What is the power consumption differences between a freezer working at -20 C, -40 C, -60 C?
If you could lead me to a company that builds small freezers that can reach these temperatures that would be great too. Thank you.
1 AnswerEngineering8 years agoI am recently purchasing a home. And have been approved. Trying to lower interest rate.?
Before applying for my home loan, I had applied for two credit cards, (i was not intending to buy a home at this time). The two cards raised my overall credit limit to double. But the inquiries slammed my credit score. I was wondering if in a month's time, if I will see a credit score increase due to the my debt to credit ratio. Due to the slam to my credit score it has given me a interest rate of 3.3%. But before I close I hope to obtain a better interest rate, is this likely?

1 AnswerLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade agoA Indian Nickel?
I have two Indian nickels with the years 1930 and 1936. They both have cut marks along the edge. The shards do stick out quite a bit. The 1930 one, looks to have 6 shards, probably showing it was in the middle while the metal was poured. The 1936 has similar shards sticking out, while it only has 4 of the possible 6, probably being at the edge of the template. I haven't seen these in ebay auctions. Wondering if they are special or not.

3 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoi found a strange organic material.?
I found it on the side of my house. I have never seen something like this. Right away I made the assumption it was a type of mushroom. As I poked it with a stick it had the characteristics of a mushroom, with the slits found on the bottom. But as I picked at it, the inside was gooey, like a brownie mix or black oil product. I wondered if it was flammable, so I started to burn it with a lighter, and after 15-20 seconds of lighting it, it became a solid. I pushed it down to see if the inside was liquid still, and it had turned fully solid. What is this, and what kind of liquid turns solid by heat?

3 AnswersChemistry1 decade agoWhat is the fish's protective layer when part of it's body is badly damaged?
I noticed that when my Texas Cichlid fought with my Jack Dempsey, the JD was badly injured. A big part of it's right side was badly damaged with flesh being shown and dots of red in the area. After a few hours a protective layer was formed. That nearly looked like a bubble. I understand that this layer is made because of the surrounding water will not get to the wound. So it will ultimately heal quicker and properly. But what is this layer made of, if there is a name of it, i would love to hear that. Then I could research it myself.
Thank You
