i had a non-injury accident near leakey, tx. i was the only car involved ( back end stepped out and went for a spin into a rock wall). the local police found me after i had moved the car 9 miles and it was some 3 hrs later. and since i was the only person involved and there were no injuries i didn't think i need to call the police right then and there.

but the officer gave me a ticket for failing to report an accident immediately. He also did a report on the accident

****so here is the question texas law says that I have 10 days to report the accident if not investigated by a officer. And it was. I could not find any other reference about reporting accidents in texas law. Is this a legal ticket or should I try and fight it? And if fight it on what grounds?

Here is the text from the texas law

601.004. ACCIDENT REPORT.

(a) The operator of a motor vehicle that is involved in an accident

in this state Shall Report The Accident to the department not later

than the 10th day after the date of the accident if:

(1) the accident is not investigated by a law enforcement officer;

(2) at least one person, including the operator, sustained:

(A) bodily injury or death;

(B) property damage to an apparent extent of at least

$1,000.00

my friend just got a ticket of 98 but i remember my 03 f150 could only do 90. also there were two cops on the road about 100 yards apart one taged him at 70mph , and the other at 98mph. anything to fight with there?

my aunt has had both knees replaced and is badly out of shape. my 10lbs weight is very heavy for her and she must use both hands to hold. she has run out of insurance covered PT. should she enlist in more PT or get a personal trainer. also are there any gyms that may offer that type of trainer?.

they are all in the same general price range, excpet for the rx which starts cheaper.
