Android 3.1 update for eee pad Transformer?
I haven't received the OTA 3.1 update. When checking for system updates, it says there is no updates available for this device.
The official update for a manual install is available on ASUS website but the instructions are not clear.
Steps of Update:
1. Check SW version of your Eee Pad Transformer TF101*
2. Download Eee Pad Transformer TF101 Firmware: V8.4.4.7 Only for CN SKU and Update Launcher SOP WW
3. Please follow the steps in the SOP manual to update the firmware.
I couldn't locate the "SOP manual".
Anybody know where I can find the step by step instructions? or anybody know how to to perform the update?
1 AnswerLaptops & Notebooks10 years agoWhat is causing pipe noise when I turn off the water?
Sometimes, when I turn off the hot water from my kitchen or bathroom sink, I hear gargling and sometimes knocks in the pipes. Noise happens only when the water is shut off. I tried turning off the main water and draining all the water from the pipes but it still happens. Cold water is fine.. We have a tankless water heater and I tried reducing the water on the unit also.

Our average gas bill has been 15-20$ per month. 2 bedrooms 1 bath with tankless water heater. Our most current bill came out to 100$. The only thing that changed was we got a gas dryer. Can a gas dryer make that much of a difference? We only do 2-3 loads a week max.
2 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoHire a tax accountant, or do it myself?
I have been doing my taxes myself, and using standard deductions. I really didn't have many expenses so it was pretty easy doing it myself.
This year I purchased a house. The only expense I have now are the mortgage payments, and the other necessary basic expenses.
Should I hire an Accountant this year?
9 AnswersOther - Taxes1 decade agoFan under new refrigerator blows smelly air.?
I just bought a new refrigerator, and when the fan blows air, it smells like urine. It's not the water from the drip pan also. I opened the back of the fridge and the smell seems to be coming from the compressor. No mold, leaks or dead animals back there.
Anybody experience this issue? The fridge works fine, just it smells really bad. Driving me crazy...
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoWhat is the drain pipe in back of the house for (water leaking out of it)?
My last plumber snaked my pipes and capped a pipe in back of my house. When I took a shower, the water was not draining.
I uncapped the pipe in back of my house and water started draining out. I'm concerned something is backed up. I haven't had time to investigate more, but I used the toilet and bath tub this morning w/o any problems.
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoHow to install tiles in my kitchen?
I currently have linoleum in my kitchen. Underneath is some plastic surface. Do I pull everything out? Do I need to use a backerboard? I found another backboard alternative at Home Depot that's thin, light and rolls out bit more expensive. Anybody have experience with this?
