I obtained a records check at my local police station a few days ago, as requested by an animal shelter I will be volunteering for. My question is, do we have to submit a copy of the results ourselves or are they sent to the organization directly? I was assured by the manager of the volunteer department that the results would be available right away but the only thing the officer did was collect the required form and official organization letter and handed me a receipt slip. I was under the impression that I would have to wait but he dismissed me without further instruction.

Does an iPhone's performance depend on the usage of a computer and the iTunes program? For instance, is a computer essential in setting up/activating the phone after purchase? Or do you just need a computer in the event that you want to download software updates, music or applications?

I am thinking of getting a film strip tattoo down the side of my lower leg. First I must state that I have never engaged in previous sexual activity before. But just recently my boyfriend and I have been intimate on three occasions, and I have experienced bleeding and subsequent spotting during each of those times which have involved both intercourse and finger insertion. One of my coworkers and I converse a lot when we're at work. Does he like me or is he just being friendly? Because he's really nice and naturally possesses this outgoing personality with most everyone.

I went to pay a bill at an electronics store for purchases I had made over Christmas using their finance credit card. I usually transfer $50 per month on it, but yesterday, the checkout clerk processed my debit card a second time eventhough it had been approved the first time. When I verified my online bank account statement afterwards, sure enough, it showed that I had been charged twice. My account balance is very limited, therefore I cannot afford double payments, so is it possible to go to my bank and ask that the second payment be reversed? Or do I need to go back to the store itself to get the refund?

I am thinking of looking for new employment which provides a higher salary as I am currently in retail and am constantly struggling to pay the bills. So I was wondering if I would have any luck applying at a nearby animal clinic with a lack of experience. I would settle for a receptionist/desk position, nothing that requires veterinary knowledge. Although I assume you need some extent of knowledge in regards to medication if people have inquiries. I have customer service experience on my side, although I've never taken any secretarial courses. Do these places provide training?

I just became an Avon representative through recruitment from a lady I work with and just got an order from my first customer. The lady I work with explained to me that once the order is sent and delivered to the customer, I have to pay the invoice of what I owe Avon with a cheque, for example. Do you have to pay that invoice from your own personal bank account reserve or with the money the customer has given you for the transaction?

I have recently moved and cancelled my Rogers internet account because I am now sharing a connection with someone else via a wireless router. Yet, I just checked my banking statement and it says Rogers withdrew money from my account on Dec. 6th. I have checked previous transactions dating from a couple of months back, and I have always been billed on the 6th of each month. So does the withdrawal on the 6th cover the previous month or the current one? I just want to make sure they're not still billing me after I cancelled my service.

What does it mean when someone's blog states that it has been updated, yet there are no new entries? For example, if someone's blog has no new recent entries, yet it says that it was last updated today, where are the changes? Does this date indicate changes to the blog or to the person's profile itself? Or maybe it is to indicate when new blog comments have been added?

How long does a pending friend request remain active when you are waiting for approval? I imagine it expires and is deleted after a certain time if there has been no response from the other person?

So I've sent a parcel by Canada Post's Xpress Post to LA on April 19th. I have ever since been using their online tracking service to monitor its route, as well as submitted my email address for delivery confirmation. In the beginning, it showed the parcel as having arrived in LA and received by the delivery office. That was on the 24th of April. There has been no updated activity since to say that it reached its recipient. Has the parcel simply been cast aside? Or has it been delivered with this information overlooked by their system? Has anyone else sent something without receiving requested delivery confirmation or update status?
