I have Dell with a Sound Blaster X-Fi sound card. It does not have the usual game port or joystick port (db15) like all the previous sound blaster PCI cards of the past. So if I install an older Sound Blaster card (since I have purchasing them for the last 15 years) that has the game port... Will this older sound card waste a significant amount of system resources (possibly slowing my gaming experience) even though I will just be using it for the game port only... not the sound.

Cannot install Shockwave Flash Player on Internet Explorer 6.0 ?

During the install from the official Shockwave page it stops at one point, asks me to check or uncheck an option for a google toolbar, then closes the Internet Explorer browser and starts over.

This computer will not allow a Windows Update for the same reason.

What could be blocking the installation and causing the install to stop, close the webpage, open a browser window and start the whole process over again and again and again....with no final result.

I know about Mozilla Firefox so please do not suggest I use a different browser. Thanks!

I recently moved across the country. I want to stay in contact with my family and friends I left behind through blogging. Please suggest the best blog site on the web for me. I will be hosting my own pics and mp3 files so the blog site needs to be able to handle html or some other way for me to link the pics and mp3s. Needless to say the site needs to be free.

I heard there were lots of points of interest downlaods that have been made up by Garmin users but the main website does not provide a link or nothing.

Im hoping not to use Java or a special application to do this. Im sure HTML coding provides for this. I also think frames play a role in this. If it does involve frames I would assume an ugly line would not separate my graphic staying at the top and the rest of my web page.
