My 13 yr. old black lab thinks he's still a pup. It's so sad cause he tries to jump around like he used to when he knows something good is coming. He hurts from hip dysplasia and he gets winded easily. His breathing is sometimes very labored when he get excited or trots a bit. I took him to see a vet and was told there is nothing they can do for his air passages aren't expanding as they should when more air is needed for cooling down or when he gets excited. It's a disturbing sound knowing he's having trouble breathing and cant get enough oxygen when he needs it. Why cant they prescribe something for that? People get relief from either a spray inhaler or pills. Can't they do something for dogs? I think I need a second opinion. I feel like he's suffocating at times and I'll give him a xanx .50mg so he will slow down and breath easier. But what will open up his bronc. tubes and allow them to expand enough for the air he needs?

My cousin's sister's nephew's brother, got an email from some dude in Africa, offering a P/T job for recordkeeping for a textile company that sells woven horse hair products all over the world. For some reason the only people in the world who can cash the pmts. are Americans and are recruited to receive money orders worth thousands of dollars. Using personal bank accts. to deposit (cash)a portion of the amount and the other portion is to be sent to this dudes personal assistant by way of western union. In turn for doing this the bookkeeper keeps 10% as payment for duties. The money orders are legal and the African dude calls as soon as you reply to the job ad. Now, as I understand it from my cousin's, sister's, nephew's, brother, the dude is hard to understand since he speaks very low with thick accent reminding me, of a voodoo doctor hissing "do you understand these instructions?" Has anyone followed through with this? Or is anyone alive who did not ? Thats just what i heard

This shadow of a guys profile is giving me a problem. First of all I'm a girl and with deni_havasu being my name most would naturally assume I was a guy, but I'm not. How can I get my avatar to show up instead. I'd even settle for a chick shadow profile.

Is a dogs mouth as clean as they say? Can their licking a wound heal it up faster?

This is the smallest tank I've ever seen. It's like maybe 2 gallons with a filter system and a light over the top. I'm wondering if the bubbles are suppossed to come from the top rear of the filter (which is suction to the side of the glass) or in front after passing through the charcoal filter. Also can the filter be cleaned or do I need to buy a new one. It just doesn't seem right, but what do I know? The owners are in Whales and I doubt they know much about it either.

I had to file for bankruptcy because I got behind on my house payments. My boyfriend is paying all the other bills. My ex roommate didn't pay me for 4 months leaving me to pick up all the bills alone. Her part of the bills added up to $2460.00. I am depressed over loosing my job and I hate looking for one. I'm sleeping too late in the day and everything is just falling apart right before my eyes. What is wrong with me? I need to go get a job but I don't.

the boyfriend has his own house but he is waiting for his slob of a roommate to move out. In the mean time he showers here, she does his laundry, feeds him, etc. I think he should pay a third of the bills. What is fair ?

Both my friend and I have more than enough furniture and junk for 2 homes, but one is moving into the home of the other and selling her home. Both of our homes are cluttered and with too much stuff collecting how do we agree on what to keep and what to toss out so that our home is neat and tidy? Are there any guidelines we can go by so we both stick to it? I have better furniture than she does but she has some old pieces she wants to keep.
