  • Which mobile should I choose?

I want to change my mobile and especially because I need to read a lot of pdf/Word documents while travelling. I was thinking of getting a Nokia E71 but the new E72 is coming out. Is it worth waiting for the new one or should I just settle for E71. I don't have a lot of money in the budget though! What do you think is the best mobile to read pdf files/ebooks?

  • Which 4x4 should I get my wife to drive in UAE?

My wife drives daily 210km to and from work. She had a Honda civic which unfortunately got destroyed in a highway accident so we have to get a new car. This time around she says she's interested in a 4x4 vehicle because she says she can see higher up in terms of driver view. We're not that easy on money so I was considering, for UAE, which is a good 4x4 vehicle in terms of fuel economy, easy availability of spare parts and durability for a woman to drive? I was considering the Nissan Qashqai or a Honda CRV? What do you think?

  • Preconception advice TTC with PCOs?

My wife and I have been married for 3 years and we were waiting for her to finish her Masters before trying to have kids. She'll be finished in eight months or so. She's doing it by distance learning but working full time too and commuting 200km a day (driving). She's been on birth control pills and metformin since we got married because she has PCOs. I was wondering how long it could take us to get pregnant and should we start trying right away because it might take a long time? Plus what are the things to do to increase the chance of conception for a woman who has PCO?

  • When should we have our first child?

My wife and I have been married for close to two years now. We're happy, financially stable, she's 28 and I'm 38. She's a doctor and works full time, commutes 150 km a day and is doing a Masters degree (online). She also has polycystic ovaries. She's worried about infertility but at the same time her Masters will complete in September 2009 and she's having a hard time coping with studies and work. I don't mind waiting but I don't like to see her anxious about having a child but I don't want her to get pregnant too early and have her job/studies jeopardized. Plus we live with her parents since she has two disabled brothers whom she helps take care of, so we have our hands full but we don't want to wait till its too late to have our own kids. She can't quit her job because I don't earn enough to support both of us and a family...we really need her income. She'll only get 45 days maternity leave though. Should we wait till she finishes her degree or should we start trying before?

  • Chinese baby calender?

How can I find out my wife's Chinese lunar age? She was born on Oct 4 1979 and we are trying to have a baby either this year or the next. We'd like to use the calender to see if it really as good as so many people say! How do you calculate the mother's age according to this calender, there seem to be so many different calenders on the net!

  • Toyota Yaris or Toyota Corolla?

I would like to buy my wife a car because her old one needs to be exchanged for something better. We're on a tight budget and she drives 130 miles to work (and back) everyday. Its either a Corolla or a Yaris. She's interested in the Yaris because its smaller and she feels it will be easier to park/drive in the city but I'm worried about highway crosswinds and that a Yaris might not be so safe at speeds of above 74mph that she goes at. However a Corolla is really quite expensive for us esp when she needs the full package that offers the cruise control. Which one should we choose?

  • How should I help my sister with her husband's bad financial decisions?

My sister is married to a nice Indian guy. He turned out to have Hepatitis C. She insisted he get treatment before they had kids. But the guy had no savings and she had to apply to chartiy institutions to get his treatment, which he's getting now. However this expensive treatment might have to be repeated a few times in his lifetime and she is interested in saving money for it, in case they need it the next time. She works too and manages their finances. But this guy insists that he wants to send a large amount of his montly income to his parents' back in India. His parents live with their 5 sons and their wives and children in a big house and all the sons work and contribute to the household. Her husband's brothers didn't help him financially when he was in need. My sister insists that she doesn't live in that setup and doesn't intend to...so why should her husband send money to his parents (who really don't need it). She argues with him but he keeps insisting, what should she do?

  • Postgraduation in Human Physiology?

Can anyone suggest any good Universities that offer Postgraduation (diploma/degee/MSc) in Human Physiology that I can do by distance learning?

  • How do I convince my wife about kids?

Its not that she doesn't want them but (at a later date) she's really apprehensive about the responsibilites of having children since we're both full time working doctors and she loves her career. We both spend at least 12 hours away from home and she's worried that children will make life harder for her to handle. She's terrified of labour too, having handled so many labouring women herself and seen the things that can go wrong. How do I reassure her?
