I've been married for ten years. The last five have been difficult and my husband asked me to date others- after faking a relationship for a year I finally met someone- and our romance grew. After 9 months I thought it was time to leave my marriage but I find that I am holding back from committing with my boyfriend. Now after 3 months of seperation, during which my estranged husband was wonderful and understanding- everything he wasnt when we were together- he has asked for a second chance after he has determined that I have second thoughts about the BF. This is my question. Husband for ten years- knows me the best- wonderful father- excellent provider- who basically gave me away. Boyfriend- excellent lover-positive &socially active as I like to be-with clinginess and maybe not as intelligently inclined as I would like. I care for them both very much. But im thinking of my children and my future. Husband is stable we have a home- boyfriend is a renter and needs to quit smoking.help

To begin with- we both left our spouses for each other. I was in a very independant but loveless marriage and he was in an extremely dependant emotionally draining marriage. He has moved out first, I am not employed so I cant move. We both have kids from 9-14 years old and we are excited about our combined family. The problem is with me. He is really starting to bug the crap out of me he is so needy. Im not used to it. I know that in the marriage I left I was independant and enjoyed an equal standing in decision making with my ex- he just didnt express love very often and he ignored me most of the time. My boyfriends spouse began and ended her day with him. Everything she did was with him, for him, she had no social life, no outside interests , cant keep a job more than 3 months and because they married so young (she was 18 and he was 22) she has no personal experience to speak of. I do want to move in with him. But I'm not her. And I told him this- he promised not to act so needy-help

I have been working as a supervisor/trainer for the last ten years in the call center industry. I became unemployed last Thanksgiving weekend and have been on unemployment since then. I have searched and applied to so many jobs Im really starting to get frustrated. And in the middle of this, my husband of 10 years and I discussed and agreed on getting divorced. I cant get out of the house and move on with my life until I have employment! Should I just take a lower paying representative job so that I can afford to move out or wait it out? My unemployment benefits arent too much, they're the max the state allows but I can only be on it 2 more months! Its really starting to feel uncomfortable at home..and I want the kids to move with me. I cant afford the house. I mean he's not pushing me out, but its time for me to go. What would you do? I have the experiance to supervise, train or hire but nothing is available out here. Also, I tried the employment agency route-only rep jobs there.

I have been with my current employer 2 1/2 years. I am well paid but the office environment is toxic and negative. I have been offered another job elsewhere (still contingent on passing background and drug test). The right thing to do is give a two week notice, but I need this time to arrange a change in childcare before the new job starts- here are some known facts:

1)My employment there is on the rocks- they said time off that I took for sick days werent FMLA. I already contacted the labor board and they said that those days were covered. I hated going the tattletale route, but I didnt have a choice

2)I am considered an "extra". Work has slowed down enough that there isnt enough for me to do and they would rather write me out of a job than pay unemployment. If I give two weeks notice they may just ask me to go.

In the end- I have a potential job waiting for me. I need at least a week to secure my childcare. The right thing to do is give notice, but I cant work these 2 weeks.

have a 7 y/o autistic boy, who is enrolled in an elementary school

with his neurotypical twin sister and NT older brother. Our

before/after school program for working parents is run on site by

county parks and recreation. They advised me today that besides not

having room this year, they would not be able to accomodate my son

because he requires one on one attention that they cannot provide

there. I dont believe I asked for one on one attention. The worker

advised me that their safekey program (thats what its called) is in

effect at another school and that he can attend with accomodations

there. My son does not attend that school. Who determines when a

child needs one on one accomodations and how can a county service be

at one location and not another? It is reasonable in one location

and not the other?? I think this falls under the ADA. Am I barking

up the wrong tree? Any suggestions? Comments??

I got a wonderful sterling silver hip flask with my name engraved on it for my birthday. I'm taking it on a camping event for a week that will have over 12000 people there. What should I fill it with? It should be something that is easy to clean out. Im going to be doing a lot of night time roaming from camp to camp, and I'll get lots of offers of drink- but what should I be sipping or swigging from in the meantime??

I work for an aggressive collection agency. I mention this because the aggression is not only evident in their work but also in their dealings with employees. I have available vacation time and I put in my request a month in advance and my boss said I more than likely wont get it. He says he is short people and cannot have me out for the 6 days I requested. His is short, in my opinion (which I did not express!) due to his poor management skills. He told me to see him every week to see if the situation has changed but as it stands, it probably wont get approved. His reasoning is that he has always given me my vacation time, but this time he cant. What can I do? I have non refundable airline tickets- he suggested I reschedule. My event cannot be rescheduled. I will have worked for this company two years in September. He just came back from a personal 2 week trip to Asia. I find it unfair. Please help.

I hired this young lady to clean my house. I am a busy working mom with 3 kids ages 10 and 7 y/o twins. Its hard to keep my house tidy but its not too bad- some dishes in the sink and floor needs to be mopped. I just called the baby sitter and my little girl told me that she and the babysitter are cleaning my house!! I'm a bit mortified (grateful, honestly) but seriously. I don't want her to think this is part of her job. I guess the mess was enough for her to want to do something about it. What should I do??? I cannot afford to pay extra- if I could I most definently would since help with housework is a dream come true. I am so embarrased... what should i do???

I'm traveling to Arizona this weekend- something I really wish I didnt have to do. I am an American citizen of hispanic race. No where else in the United States have I ever felt more conscience of my race than in the state of Arizona. I read an article yesterday that this weekend in Phoenix (where I'll be) there will be a 1000 person posse with the sheriffs office looking for illegals and instead of sending them back to Mexico- they are putting them in jail. I was born in the US, I have a drivers license issued from my state of residence. I am still concerned that I will be harrassed. What would you do? I can't cancel this trip- I have to go to Phoenix.

I've recently started taking Wellbutrin and have been on it now for about 3 weeks. I actually think its making my depression worse. I am quieater, dont talk to people very much, lose my patience and cry more now than before. This was supposed to help me! My friends have noticed that I'm not acting like myself lately. I dont think its the dosage. Does it matter what time you take it at?

I have tried several different diets- weight watchers, slim fast, atkins, cabbage soup and have had limited success. I have some family members that are using Medi Fast and have lost about 40 lbs in 4 months. Thats the kind of success I would like to have. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of Medifast?

I have two friends, A and B. B promised A that she would help her make a project way back in December. My part in this is that I couldnt help A until B had finished her part. This weekend, A kindly asked if B would do the project because it was due this weekend. B acted like she didnt know what A was talking about. Now B is acting weird and distant. She is disassociating herself from A and myself. I know B had to do the project. Should I remind her or say anything??
