Do you think that it is because of a culture which thinks that it is the woman's responsibility to avoid unwanted pregnancy?

Seems to me that a male birth control pill will put men in the driver's seat. Lot less paternity suits. If a guy is sure he does not want kids, he can take his pill and not have to worry about some female getting knocked up and having to pay child support when he did not want any of that in the first place. I think that this something that guys should want. What do you think?

If the bike is expensive and I need it for work, I should be able to insure it. But where do I get bicycle insurance?

I don't have a dryer so I'm hanging stuff on the clothes line but I have some dryer sheets left from when my dryer was working.

It was very popular in the 70's but I don't know what you call it.

I am just so tired right now. I am having a good cry because I lost my best friend and a week later they laid me off from my job. I can't stand it. Been running around applying for jobs and going on interviews. They told me this morning that to be seen at the unemployment office I need to sit for about five hours- that was the last straw. So I am just sitting here crying. I will finish being brave and strong tomorrow. Right now I just want to cry.

I just got fired from my job today because I have a preexisting condition of Sickle Cell anemia. I have been working there for a while and would be eligible for insurance benefits in a few weeks. I have always been eligible to live on SSI because of this illness but would rather work and support myself. They fired me so that they don't have to pay for my health insurance. Which is worse: Living off you or having the company help pay my premiums?

I just moved into a new apartment which has a nasty old refrigerator in it that does not work. NO the landlord will not take it away. This is the hood down here.

The apartment itself is pretty nice and roomy but I have got to get rid of this thing and I don't really have money to for a mover.

When I lived in New Orleans 2 for 1 coupons were so easy to find in the paper, but I'm living in Baton Rouge now since Katrina and I want to take my niece to the zoo back home on Friday.

I actually consider myself to be a moderate liberal. However in conversations with some who claim to be liberals, they say they can't stand the narrow-minded, judgmental people. I agree. But as soon as I say that I am a believer, I a mean a religious person, they start using words at me like "Hypocritical" and "Judgmental" I assure you, I am not but how can they say that they are so "liberal" and open-minded when they don't even really know me? Aren't they being hypocritical and judgmental toward me?

I like all kinds of music so feel free with your suggestions. My player currently has everything on it ie classical, pop, R&B, rock and hip-hop and that's the way I like it! I just want to make sure that I am not missing any "essentials".

Hasn't technology come far enough where we can tap offshore and these Alaskan resources without destroying the wildlife? Or is it really impossible?

I love my job. But there is always new equipment and technology. When I learn how to use the new things or the new system, I share what I know with my workmates. However, there is one person who knows EVERYTHING but when you ask her to show you how to do something new she pushes you out of the way and does it, then she will make nasty comments about how you don't know anything. So I muddle through, I learn things on my own. When new people start or when my coworkers need to catch up, I show them what I know we all learn eventually by helping each other, except for Ms. Stupid and Selfish.

What's up with this person who doesn't want to show anybody anything? I call it immaturity.

I need to get at least 10,000 Sky Miles and I am willing to pay for them. If someone will trade... then fine but I don't want to do anything illegal.

How can I get them legitimately?

This is not a put-down towards men, I am just curious.

I have had friends tell me that men will refuse to even speak to them on the phone without seeing a picture first. While a woman would be at least willing to speak to a guy. Is the male/female chasm really the wide? A woman would rather get to know a guy while a guy isn't interested in getting to know a woman if he does not think she is cute?
