  • What should I cook for dinner tonight?

I just want random ideas - basic or fancy. I can cook well, I'm just totally sick of thinking what to cook. I have a very full pantry, fridge and freezer so ingredients don't matter.

  • Ideas for a new hairstyle?

I have long dead straight red hair with virtually no bounce or volume. I have no fringe. It's been the same for about 10 years, before that I had a fringe, and throughout my life it's been varying lengths ranging from a bob to waist length (I also had it short and had a couple of perms). At one stage I got about 10 inches lopped off it because my boyfriend asked me how long I'd had that dated hairstyle and then he didn't even notice that I'd had the radical cut for a week (until I pointed it out to him), and other people I've known for years say variously that I've always had a fringe or never had a fringe depending on what I have at the time. It's so same-ish.

I sort of want a change but it needs to be easy care (i.e. wash and leave), I don't want to have to use a blowdryer or any styling equipment.

I'm thinking along the lines of some sort of cut rather than a perm or a colour. Does anyone have any ideas for something that'll make me look different?

  • Microwave recipe in oven?

I have a microwave slice recipe that I want to try cooking in my regular oven as it always burns in the middle in the microwave. Does anyone have any idea how to convert from microwave instructions to regular oven in either degC or degF? My recipe says to cook at 70% for 7 minutes. I'm picking that I could bake it at 180degC/350degF for about 20 minutes, just wondered if anyone has a basic conversion or has tried this before and has some tips.

  • Menu for a week or two . . .?

I can cook and love to cook but I'm so sick of deciding WHAT to cook. I'd love it if someone could just write down 14 main meals of all varieties (I can find the recipes myself - I just want the ideas). Easy stuff, hard stuff, from scratch, anything. We have no dietary requirements (though low fat is good) and I have everything. If you could just write down what dinners you had for the last fortnight I'd be so grateful.

  • Any ideas on these repetitive dreams?

For several years I have been having repetitive dreams - well, repetitive clear similar themes - 1. That I am drunk and lost in a major city (I live in a small town and the city I refer to has always symbolised having the ability to be anonymous and act as you wish and nobody will even notice) and need to get somewhere and then my legs get sooo tired. - 2. That I am late for high school or a tertiary education course on the first day, or even that I missed the first day, and don't know where I'm supposed to be (these ones stopped last year after I began a part time course but have begun again this year since I finished it - I am a full time health professional in my 40s with no particular ambition), - 3. More recently I have been dreaming probably two or three times a week that I am going overseas and am late for the airport and when I get there I haven't got my passport.

I have some ideas about the first 2 but the last one stumps me totally.
