What do you do in a situation where a girlfriend's mom is very protective of her?
The mom is awfully protective of her daughter in a long-term & long distance relationship and wants her to live close by - basically to have the daughter all to herself. As a boyfriend, how do you mitigate this situation?

I was in the emergency room yesterday due to my belief I was having an allergic reaction. I've been having very painful sore throats and I was treated with an IV of Benadryl, Medrol, Pepcid and a saline solution. My throat feels so much better but my measles like rash (it's not measles as I've had the rubella vaccine) and reddended face are still apparent though swelling in my face went down considerably. It's not a painful rash by any means. Should I just let this run its course or should I be taking something?

I have been on Augmentin 875 mg for about 5 days now for a bad sinus infection which has since all but gone away and developed a bad throat pain 2 days into the antibiotic which resulted in swollen lymph nodes on the left side of my head. Ever since then, I have noticed more milky white patches on both tonsils with the left tonsil looking very inflammed. I was told this wasn't a fungal infection and it could be viral. Any ideas?

I have had a throat virus (not strep) as I have been taking Augmentin 875 mg for a sinus infection. I have had inflammation and sharp pains in my throat, very red tonsils, post nasal drip and a couple white patches on the tonsils. How long should this last? I will drink plenty of fluids and rest more to let it run it's course. I've already been to the doctor. Thanks!
