I just saw a sign at work (Walmart) that said, no associate can take a vacation longer than two weeks. Previously,I thought associates could take 3 weeks. Is this a store by store policy, or a corporate policy?

My friend received three tickets in one stop (speeding, tailing to close to another car, and no insurance). She paid the speeding ticket but she didn't understand the others. She just found out two warrants were issued.

She had insurance at the time of the stop, but she's ukrainian and I don't think she fully understood what was happening.

What should she do?

I have a degree in math and in education and I could get my certification now, but I took two years off from teaching. I feel unprepared to enter the teaching field straight off. Is there a way I could get into a teaching internship?

Currently I'm an overnight stocker and I was recently offered the position of pet department manager.

Recently presidential candidates have been trying to ensure us they are regular people. Why? I don't want a regular person in office. I want an extraordinary person. For me, "soccer moms" need not apply.

I'm not asking about dewy decimals. I'm asking how do you choose. I like variety but I feel like I'm stuck on just a few Authors. Sometimes I just randomly grab a book from the shelf but I hardly ever like them.

If you are looking for a book try "Con Ed." It's a story about an ex con con man that tries to walk the straight and narrow but ends up masterminding a huge con. You won't know how it ends until you finish.

I feel like something light and fun.

Why did you like it?

I really like Catch 22 and Confederacy of Dunces. I would rather read classics, books that have made an impact in our culture.

I don't understand them at all.

Why do women were them? It's not because they make your legs look slim and tight because women wear heels with pants all the time.

Is it a height thing? But most guys I know like shorter women.

I don't understand why some people pray the way they do.

For example, many people like to pray for sick people.

The problem I have with this is why do you need to pray for sick people. Is god not aware that they are sick? Does he not care, and needs you to plead for them for him to be bother with it?

If you pray for sick people do you believe god is not all-knowing, and all-merciful?

I have a friend who is a fish and wildlife major. She is really into birds (owls) and trees and I thought a field guild would be a good gift idea.

The definition of gay is:

1 a : happily excited : MERRY b : keenly alive and exuberant : having or inducing high spirits

2 a : BRIGHT, LIVELY b : brilliant in color

3 : given to social pleasures; also : LICENTIOUS

All of these are stereotypes of homosexuals. My question is: Why does the homosexual community define themselves as gay? And does this hurt the homosexual community?

Who decided "gay" was good? Why not ******? The definition of ****** is: 1. A bundle of twigs, sticks, or branches bound together.

2. A bundle of pieces of iron or steel to be welded or hammered into bars.

The term "******" comes from the times when homosexuals were burned like a bundle of twigs.

How is this any worse than "gay”?

I would really like some constructive feedback from both homosexuals and heterosexuals (not straights because that implies that homosexuals are crooked).

Seriously, people don't care. They never have and they never will. Why the hell should you put forth the effort when no one else will? Unless many many others care it's all a moot point.

No amount of pep talk will help. It is lost. It's sad because it's really not that hard, but people will just never care.
