I plan to relocate from St. Louis, MO to Dallas, TX by this time next year. The problem is that the few people I know in TX are scattered, so I don't really have anybody to fall back on.

I'm a young woman with no children or pets & I'm currently in an apartment so I won't be waiting to sell a house or anything.

I have been researching & I'm seeing a lot of high numbers when it comes to costs...fyi, I don't have a problem with personally packing/unpacking & I can rent a truck, but can I rent a U-Haul & return it to a location in TX? Also, how can I monitor the weight of the truck?

Finally, is it easier to find a job once I'm down there or should I try to have that lined up before I go? What should I do as far as house hunting goes (i prefer to rent a 2br house as opposed to an apartment & I'm not ready to buy)?

So many questions! Aye-yiy-yiy!

Anybody who has ever attended a funeral knows that the program includes a brief bio of the person who passed. Well, I realized today that there are a lot of details about my parents and grandparents that I don't know, like what high school they went to or what year they graduated, etc. My maternal grandmother, her husband, and my parents are all still alive but I don't have anyone I can go to to get this information if they died today. How should I go about getting it without making them think I want them to die in their sleep or something?

For the record, I'm truly not wishing that on them, I just know that if something happens to them, it will be my responsibility (as both the oldest child/grandchild & the only one with pretty good writing/graphic design skills) to create the program...HELP!

I am a very basic, almost 27 year old woman. I will be finishing my bachelor's degree in december & I plan to go straight into my master's program. I work two jobs & I have no children, but I have realized that I have spent years trying so hard to be successful (leaving & then recovering from a bad, long-term relationship, recuperating from a miscarriage, etc.) that I have become plain. I want to recreate myself...spice up my image, change my wardrobe, be confident in wearing make up.......but I don't want ppl who are around me everyday to think I'm crazy!

So...I dreamed this morning that I pulled up to a familiar building & it was dark (in the heart of Baden...anybody from St. Louis understands this area is dangerous at night), and I started to walk towards the back of the building but then I turned and walked toward the front. I knew that the business that was in this building was closed, but I'm not sure why I was there...and as I walked along the side of the building, I remember feeling like somebody was behind me, and sure enough, I saw a shadow casted on the ground in front of me, but as I got nervous & started to turn around, I felt an actual, warm/comforting/tingling sensation in the middle of my back ((this part was NOT a dream)) and it made me move my body so that my head was kind of hunched over...and then I felt the need to turn back to see who was there but I couldn't. I struggled with this for a few minutes, and then i finally woke myself up and looked around the room, but nobody was there.............thoughts?

My cousin's girlfriend was hired at a daycare center last week. Her first day was Monday. She has 3 children...2 of them are in school. She applied to receive daycare assistance for her youngest child but she was denied because my cousin makes too much money (and they live together). Her first day was Monday of this week. She went to work, worked the entire day, went home, and then got a call from her boss asking her why her kids weren't at the daycare. She explained to her why she couldn't enroll them and then her boss fired her. She told her that the only reason she hired her was for her kids to attend the daycare.

Is this legal or should she seek legal advice?

My mind is weird...smells & music trigger very distinct memories for me. Sometimes, that's not so bad, because the memories are pleasant. However, I am a HUGE music person, and there's some music that I just can't listen to because it takes me back to a very depressing time of my life. Is there anything that I can do to repress those memories???

My boyfriend, 29, and I, 23, have been together for the past four years. He has two children (a boy who is 12 and a girl who is 10), and the mother of his children is deceased. I have a pretty good relationship with his children, but I can't seem to be around them for too long before they start irritating the mess out of me. I was speaking with a friend and she pointed out that since they are around the same age as my youngest brother, perhaps the problem lies with differentiating the relationship I have with THEM with the relationship I have with my siblings. So I need some help here...what are some techniques that I can use in order to establish that "Adult vs. child" relationship?

The theme in my bathroom is "Playboy Bunny". I am looking for a couple of Bunny-head wall mounts (for towels, etc). I checked e-bay and can't find them. Does anybody have any other ideas? Or a direct link???

What's the difference between "Church of God" and "Church of God In Christ"?

i LOVE my cat...I've always wanted another one since the first that I had for 11 years was hit my a car when I was a sophomore in high school. But, I lived by myself & worked two jobs, so I was never at home. Then, my boyfriend was staying with me for a couple of months, and since he was there more than I was, he got me a kitten. Now, he's my EX bf and I'm back to doing so much more with my time...not only do i still work 2 jobs but I also take classes at night. I hate leaving my cat at home all day by herself, but I don't want to get rid of her! But the problem is that she's OVERLY aggressive. I would say she's about 3 or 4 months old now...she bites at my ankles/feet no matter how much I pop her bottom or yell at her. I've even tried spraying her with a water bottle, but that doesn't work either.

She also has a biting habit...when she was really young, she'd come up to you & stare at you for a second (or your feet, or hand, or whatever it was she was looking at) and then drop her head on you with her mouth open...almost like a snake does. But now that she's older, she does the same thing but with a slow meow before she actually does it. I HATE when she does this but I don't know how to stop it!

Will she grow out of it? Should I get rid of her? I don't really want to get another cat, but should I?

Does anybody know if this business exists? I'm trying to see if there's a portrait studio out there that specializes in animal photography?

And I don't just mean "pictures" of pets. I wanted something that made my kitten look like a lioness on the prowl in the jungle...

I think my kitten is about 5 weeks old or so...she JUST started actually leaving "evidence" when she uses the bathroom, so I'm trying to figure out how to direct her to the cat litter box. I caught her about to run behind a piece of furniture last night & I put her into her litter box then...she jumped out first, and then when I put her back in, she sat there for about a minute or so and only 'tinkled' slightly. But how do I train her to go to the litter box?

First of all, are there any "signs" to look at to get a better idea of how old my kitten is? Haven't had a chance 2 take her to the vet yet...

Anyway, I know that she's young. I was feeding her milk for about a week & then leaned about Kitten Replacement Milk. So I bought her some of that...she'll eat a little of it and then start crying for milk. Then, she's discovered table food. She knows when someone around me or myself is eating...she climbs around trying to get to the food & crying for us to give her some. So what can I do to make her eat her OWN food?

My kitten is about 6 or 7 weeks old (i think), i got it from a friend & I'm not 100% sure.

Anyway, i've always had pets growing up, but we never took them to the vet or nothing, and I want my kitten to last me the rest of my life :). So, I need advice on how 2 take care of it. All she does is meow for milk...I warm it up when I give it to her but she keeps putting her front paws in it & sucking it, but I'm trying to get her to eat kitten food and she won't even bother! I've even tried soft food...still to no avail!!

I've done a lot of research & found that technically, the LG enV Touch from Verizon seems 2 be the best phone for me. However, I need to hear from actual OWNERS of this phone to see what their opinion is so that I can get the info that Verizon doesnt' want us to know!! ; )

I'm currently with Cricket but I'm sick of this cheap phone. I'm REALLY interested in a touch screen. I text SOOO much, and I send pic messages too. I need a phone that is text friendly (preferably with a quirky keyboard), has a camera, is touch screen, access & browses the internet and plays ring tones that i download to it.

I just tried to open service with Sprint, but I've experienced absolute unbearable customer service and refuse to be bound to them for two years.

So, I need to know who is the best phone company between US Cellular & Verizon Wireless, and which phone best fits my needs/desires based on what i said above...

I'm a 22 year old, single, white female. I grew up in Jennings (a predominantly black neighborhood in North County) so it's not like I'm prejudice or anything, but I want some opinions on some of the best neighborhoods for somebody like me to move to is. I'm not married, have no children & no animals, work a lot so I'll barely be at home, and own a vehicle. I want to move someplace not too far from down town (I work off Market & Jefferson) but I'm not trying to move someplace where I have to be afraid to get out of my car at night in fears of being robbed.

Any suggestions???

Okay...so I am REALLY intrigued by this new Apple iPhone. I'm SERIOUSLY considering investing in one, but my friend just told me about a phone today that could be found in "yahoo gadgets" that's supposed to be WAYYYYYYYY better than the iPhone. But I can't find it...does anybody know what phone that is? Or what about where I can find it? I mean...as far as reviewing it 2 see if i'd like it more than the iPhone...

For those of u who DON'T know what I'm referring to, I'm speaking of the Apple iPhone thru AT&T...but i'm not sure about this other "latest gadget"...

I bought this Loreal kit to highlight my own hair. My hair's long, and I put the lil' cap on and tucked my hair in, like the instructions said to do, but as i went to pull my hair through the holes, it seemed to be knotting my hair up under the cap.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to pull my hair through withOUT matting my hair up beneath it?

My couch is "material"...I'm not 100% sure of the fabric, but it's not leather. I managed to get some dark red nail polish on the front of it, and I need to know a safe way to remove it without bleaching the fabric? It's a tan/beige colored couch...
