1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoI have no idea how to solve this Vector Problem! doe anybody?
A million years ago, an alien species built a vertical tower on a horizontal plane. When they returned they discovered that the ground had tilted so that measurements of 3 points on the ground gave coordinates of (0, 0, 0), (1, 2, 0), and (0, 1, 3). By what angle does the tower now deviate from the vertical?
5 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoHow would i find these vectors? I have no idea!?
For u=(26,6,−21) and v=(−18,−6,12), find the vectors u1 and u2 such that:
(i) u1 is parallel to v
(ii) u2 is orthogonal to v
(iii) u = u1 + u2

1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoHow do I solve this limit?
How do I solve this limit? I am having problems with the math! I can't seem to rationalize it and make the numbers work out! The hint tells me that I should rationalize the numerator and denominator.
Lim ( (7x-5)^1/2 - (7x+1)^1/2 ) / ( (28x+2)^1/2 - (28x+1) )^1/2
x--> infinity
So the limit as x approaches infinity
Like I said, I am having problems rationalizing it! Any suggestions for me?
1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoitunes and little grey exclamation marks.?
I recently got an Ipod Nano.... And I want to add songs to it.... But I am new to Itunes...
Almost every song that Is in my "itunes library" has a little grey exclamation mark in front of the song. It won't let me play the song, but gives me the message
"The song " name of song " could not be used because the original file could not be found. would you like to locate it?
And then in gives me the option of "yes" or "cancel". If I click yes, it makes me look all over my system for the song I want to play... when I find it and click it. then Itunes will paly it.
What do I do to make itunes find all theses songs with out my help?

THE SMALL ROUND TABLE
King Ondolph of Puggia was not as great a king as King Arthur of Britian. Ondolph commanded only six knights - Sir Pudno, Sir Mollix, Sir Baffin, Sir Coddle, Sir Morgid, and Sir Dollop. However, King Ondolph wanted to be as much like King Arthur as possible. So he had a round table built for his knights to sit
at. ( Of course, it was a rather small round table, for there were only six knights!)
When all six knights sat at the table, the strongest knight was across from Sir Coddle, who was to the right of Sir Baffin. Sir Pudno sat across from the fattest knight, and to the right of the strongest knight. The knight in red armor sat between Sir Coddle and the thin knight, and across from the knight who rode a white horse. And Sir Dollop sat to the right of the left-handed knight, across from the thin knight, and next to Sir Mollix.
From all this, Can you figure out:
1) The name of the Strongest knight?
2) The name of the knight in red armor?
3) The name of the left - handed knight
4) The name of the thin knight?
5) The name of the fattest knight?
6) The name of the knight who rode a white horse?
