Poll: How does a person get into Heaven.?

First know that you can never work your way to heaven. Not matter how hard we work, we will never be perfect. And since God is perfect, we can be not be with Him, if we even had one sin. (A sin can be as big as killing someone, or as small as thinking an angry thought about someone. It is all the same to God, there is not big and little sins)

But the good news is that when Christ died He gave us a way to be with God in spite of our sins. All you have to do is know that you sinned and ask Jesus for your forgivness, and truly believe. If you truly believe your life will be changed forever.

All depends when you think you are going to die.

Think about this for a moment. You have asked a question that presupposes everyone knows WHEN they are going to die.

This is a fundamental error in human logic that has underscored centuries of philosophical and ethical pontification still unresolved today.

If you study very closely the words of Jesus - not the commentary by his disciples nor the mountain of woffle written by millions of commentators since (including Paul's) but LOOK at the WORDS yourself and EAT them, you will know everything there is to know about heaven.

There is however a caveat. A small stumbling block to knowledge that MOST people trip over. The stumbling block is the cornerstone on which both Christians and Researchers build their edifice of doctrine, like the Pharisees did, and then spend the rest of their lives stumbling about in the dark. The caveat is that without Christ seated on the throne of your mind, and ONLY Christ and His words occupying a precedence over every other word that as ever been spoken anywhere at any time in the past, the present of the future, you will understand absolutely nothing at all when these same words come to call you out at the end of time.

Mark my words carefully, and this is for seekers only, not for the lost, on the day of Resurrection it will be too late then to feast on Jesus if you have not already filled yourself full of him now. The reason Lazarus came out was because in death he recognised the voice that told him to get up. God is a God of the living, not of the dead and Lazarus was alive even in death.

'There are some here who will not taste death before they have seen the kingdom of God' he said once to his disciples. The meaning is weakened in translation from greek and the past tense 'have seen' is dropped in translation to english but this statement, along with many others he made about eternal life, will give you a clue about where heaven is exactly.

Everybody is already in heaven. The reason is that soul is eternal but it depends on the level of heaven u found yourself in. You can visit heaven while still alive. Not necessaryly when one dies. Heaven begins from physical plane to Astral plane to causal, mental and then into the pure heavens of God. Soul exist becuase God loves it.

LOVE is the golden key that each and everyone of us must present before the gate of heaven to enter.

It's not just believing, though that is a great thing to do, and really helps. But living a life of not sinning, or at least when you do, be at least very sorry for it, not for the fear of punishment, but because you know you did wrong. Stand up for God, like with the new movie coming out, "The Da Vinci Code," you are supposed to boycott it for it says in the Bible that if you don't stand up for God, he will not stand up for you in heaven, and won't be merciful.

You have to follow the Ten Commandments and SHOULD go to church every Sabbath, but also to take part in church, not just to go for the reward.

But, even if you were to sin, like if you were a murderer, but were never sorry, until you were about to die. If you were to be FULLY sorry, you would be forgiven from sin, probably go to Purgatory, but would not go to Hell for killing people.

So I guess the number one thing is, ask for forgiveness from God when you sin.

By curing humanity from the disease of the mind called religion. It is up to US as people to create Heaven on Earth. We can't sit around and wait for an imaginary hero to come and save us.

I really love how so many Christians are so preoccupied with "how to get into heaven" rather than, oh, say, doing good works and being a good person and stuff like that, for its own sake.

Read Acts 2:38. Repentance, water baptism in Jesus' Name for the remission of sins and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. Then live as holy and righteous as you can.

Know about ur self, Know about God, Know about ur relation with God and 'Be good and Do good'. U'll find urself in Heaven, cause this world itself would change into Heaven for u.

No one can enter heaven except for Jesus and the Holy spirit.
