I've been watching Primeval since it debuted on the Sci-Fi Channel. I have my DVR set to record so I won't miss any episodes. For the past three weeks, Primeval has not been on. The last episode that I saw was when Nick came back through an anomaly and everything had changed. Claudia Brown, no one had ever heard of her and this is where it ended. Primeval came back on this past Friday night and when I went to watch it on Saturday, it no longer was in order with where the last episode ended. Nick had his hair different, Helen was living with another man and she also had her hair different and the storyline was different. I'm painfully aware that I've missed several episodes, but nothing recorded on my DVR, so does anyone know if the Sci-Fi Channel changed seasons of the show?

It's very disappointing when you are following a series, only to have it switched like this.

Can anyone believe that Nip/Tuck was canceled this week? The final episode was filmed last week. According to the news report, Nip/Tuck will air the final season in 2011 (if at all), which is still up in the air. How upsetting. I love Julian McMahon and hope that he will soon be on another television show. Thoughts anyone?

One of my guilty pleasures in life is watching VH1 shows (Flavor of Love, I Love New York, I Love Money).

The latest show is "Paris Hilton's My New BFF". Since I have grown children (and am too embarrassed to let them know that both their parents watch this show) - can someone PLEASE explain to me what "TTYN" means?

Paris usually says this to the contestant who is eliminated at the end of each show, although this past week she would not say it to the person who was eliminated.

Both my Husband and I have repeatedly tried to figure out what TTYN means, but have not been able to "crack the code".

Can someone please help us?

Today I was coming home from an appointment and was waiting for my turn to turn left to go up a small incline to get to my condo. There is a traffic light at this intersection, but it was being repaired by a crew of workers.

There were three different Police Officers on the scene. I moved over to the lane in which I was to turn to go home and a young Police Office (he was probably my son's age) looked at me, rolled his eyes and made a gesture with his hands of "what are you doing"? I pointed to go left and he shook his head "no". I opened my drivers side window and said I just live right up the road at the condo complex. He told me (very nasty) to "go up the road the other way". I just moved to this city a couple of months ago and this is the only way in which I know how to get home. There were no detour signs, so needless to say, I was at a loss. He yelled over to me "turn on Woodmont". I said to him (he walked over to my drivers side window at this point) that I don't know where Woodmont is and how do I go? He yelled at me that I just said that I live here so I know where Woodmont is. I said that I just moved here. He screamed at me that if I say one more thing he'll arrest me. I said "whatever you want". He waved for me to leave. The older officers (quite obviously older than myself) just looked at me. I pulled around them, when up the street, finally found Woodmont and then was lost from there. I got home a little while ago. I had no idea where I was going and where I would end up. I was also very sick to my stomach (and barely made it into my house). Needless to say, the added pressure of being lost didn't help my situation. Medically I had gotten very bad news about myself yesterday, so I was still upset about that, added to the pressure of physically being sick today and then getting lost.

Do you think that I should report this Police Officer's conduct to his Superiors? I have never had an experience such as this. I realize that life is not fair and everyone has an "off" day, but I thought that Police Officers were supposed to help people in need, not harrass them. I guess that I should mention that I have both family and friends on two different police departments within the state who were equally shocked at this Officer's conduct. I did not mention to them that I am considering reporting the Officer-in-question's conduct. Has anyone else ever experienced something like this?

Please, if possible, refrain from making rude and/or nasty comments. I would certainly appreciate that.

I can't believe how bad this movie was. I wonder if it was meant to be funny and campy. Most of the time the audience was laughing. The "R" rating for "frightening & disturbing images" - sorry, I didn't see any of those.

What about Private Austin? "Oh Cheese & Crackers" - are you kidding me?

What could have been a truly frightening film certainly fell flat.

Does anyone know what has happened/become of California Psychic Dawnea Adams?

She, for years, has done readings with Hollywood stars, (one such star was Sandra Bullock, which can be found on-line) and everyday people (myself included). She had another business called "The "C" Healing Center" in Malibu, California. She also had written a couple of books and was the advisor on the movie set of a couple of movies concerning Witchcraft. She even had a web-site which is also no longer available.

Suddenly, without warning, when contacted by a Friend of mine for a reading, she said that "she doesn't do that anymore" and when I called, I never got a return phone call back (which she was very prompt about doing) and now all of her business and home telephone numbers are no longer in service.

Does anyone know what happened to her?

I don't know if anyone has heard this yet, but "Jericho" has again been cancelled by CBS.

What does everyone think of this?

I opened a myspace account for my daughter today. Everything went well. I set everything up correctly, using her e-mail address for verification. She received an e-mail back from myspace acknowledging that her account is now active. She clicked on their verification e-mail and now she cannot go into her "home" settings. It routes directly to my own myspace account using a totally different e-mail address (which is mine). We cannot get in to change her settings. Everything we've done, including contact myspace via e-mail, (they have not responded back yet) has not worked. Everything is listed correctly, all except her being able to log into her "home" to change her settings. She's anxious to get onto myspace, especially since one of her friends responded to request to be added, but she can't access the other myspace because of the privacy settings, which is why the correct "owner's account" comes into play.

Wouldn't it be nice if we all "stepped outside" of ourselves and did a good deed for someone else?

Today, while in the grocery store, I saw a woman, clearly in her early 70's, in a wheelchair, dragging herself around to do her shopping. I asked her if I could be assistance to her and do her shopping. She was very grateful and only wanted english muffins and a jar of strawberry jelly. Another woman heard what I asked the lady in the wheelchair and she said that she would go to the other end of the store and get the jelly. Together we finished the lady's meger shopping spree. I loaned her my store grocery card so that she was able to take advantage of the "buy one, get one free" offer on the engish muffins. We checked out together and then she was on her way. She was very thankful saying that today she had truly met angels and that we would both be blessed. I told her that I was already blessed because I had met her.

Wouldn't it be nice if we all did something special?

A month ago we found out that my Mother has cancer of the esaphagas (throat). She is not a candidate for chemo, radiation, laser or any other treatments which are currently available. The doctors told me today that she is in Stage II B cancer. They have informed me, after my asking them in private, that they don't feel that she will be here with us at Christmas time. I'm an only child (and am an adult). My Father died of lung cancer 21 years ago. My Mother and Step-Father (they married almost 10 years ago) live an hour away from me. He doesn't drive as he is legally blind and she was the driver before she collapsed at home back on July 26th. Needless to say, this is very hard for all of us, and anyone else who is going through the same thing. I'm sitting here crying and feeling very alone. I do appreciate being able to post my question/comment for all to read. I'd just like to ask for prayers for my Mother and everyone else who is sick.

Today I was diagnosed with a left-sided synovial cyst. I've been referred to a Surgeon (appointment not until October 2nd). Has anyone had a synovial cyst and if so, what method of treatment were you administered? Since I've been referred to a Surgeon for a consultation, I believe that surgery is in the future for me. Has anyone had surgery for a synovial cyst? If so, can you describe to me what I can and should expect?

Thanking you all in advance and I apologize if my question totally doesn't even make sense, but I'm scared of surgery, especially on my back because I'm afraid of never walking again.

Has anyone been to Rye Playland Amusement Park this season? If so, are there any new rides/attractions? Also, they used to have free concerts, but don't have any listed on their web-site. Anyone know what happened - why they don't have any this year?

I currently have a Sony Burner already in my Computer. When I start the Decrypter program it's asking for a "source". I don't know what to put into this box. What is a "source"? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you all so very much in advance.
