"Jericho" is cancelled yet again.?

I don't know if anyone has heard this yet, but "Jericho" has again been cancelled by CBS.

What does everyone think of this?

its stupid! I am not really a fan, but they just showed the commercial for it, and they were predicting a BIG return, and now, its not on anymore! What is with this??

I'm very saddened by this news. Jericho was and is my favorite show ever. Ultimately it is cheaper to produce crap, then it is to make quality programming. The greedy corporate execs like Les Moonves at CBS can't line their pockets as nicely with a great show like Jericho. The times of pleasing an audience are long forgotten, unless that audience consists of 10million people. CBS has lost a loyal customer over this news. I'm so disappointed!

This is BS. The show is great. I am really upset because lately EVERYTIME I get into a show, it gets cancelled (Jericho, Journeyman and Vanished).

From a business perspective this is what I think is really going on. While I think it has a STRONG fan base, if the fan base consists of two people it doesn't make financial sense to keep it going. That's an exaggeration, but the point is while the base is strong, it may be few.

However, I wished I understood how they factor in DVR recordings/online viewings of the show. The show comes on pretty late, so many of us record it and watch.

I was disappointed to see that CBS cancelled it yet again. It was one of my favorite shows. There was some interest in the show by some of the cable networks the first time it was cancelled. I wouldn't be surprised if Sci-Fi channel picked it up.

I think it is kind of stupid, i just heard it a day or two ago but i thought the whole reason they brought it back was because of all the fans wanting it back, what did not all the fans watch the show thus giving it bad ratings? I just dont understand it. I don't watch the show but it doesnt make any sense to me.

the cancellation wont last, just like before. the only reason shows are aired and then cancelled is because of ratings. i think cbs should stop being cheap and let the few fans enjoy something.

  • I think there was a reason the show was cancelled the first time, and it should have stayed cancelled. Now CBS spent a bunch of money to bring it back and then cancel it again. What a waste.

Personally, I don't really care. It used to be my absolutely favorite show, and I was really happy when it came back, but since then, it's really sucked. I'm not the least bit surprised that they canceled it again - when it came back, it was a completely different show, and it just wasn't as good anymore.

I think it's time to start mailing nuts again and contacting the SCI-FI channel about picking up the show to continue it.

Personally, I think it sucks. This is my favorite show. I'm just hoping someone else picks it up.
