We got direct deposits the first two times with no trouble as the deposit went to the same account as our income tax refund. But over this past week we have seen no stimulus deposits, while many people or families we know have received deposits. I have read that there will be other “batches” of stimulus money in this 3rd round but it seems that those are primarily for paper checks and (news to me) loaded debit cards. Both sent via mail. Just curious if others have had a similar experience.

My wife and I combined make less than the cap for a single person qualifying for the stimulus money. A high percentage of my coworkers have gotten their money and we have not seen the deposit.  I am getting a message that either

1) “more information is needed” which seems impossible as nothing has changed since the other 2 rounds of direct deposits

Or 

2) we are not eligible. 

Wondering if anyone else is in this boat.

My son has a 2004 Nissan Frontier xe-v6. I saw fluid dripping out of it at about the midway point of the truck. When I looked underneath it looked like the water was coming from a small hole in the forward side of the muffler. I drove the truck for a few minutes to warm it up to see if it was just moisture from exhaust condensation. When I checked again in about 5 minutes no fluid was dripping. That leads me to believe it is simply condensation from warm air on a cold morning that would sometimes be seen coming out of the back of the exhaust. I thought about using a steel putty to seal the hole but when I looked at it better the hole seems too perfect to be from rust or to have just developed. There is no rust around the hole or on the muffler that I can see. I have read that some mufflers have a "weep hole". Until researching this I had never known of any vehicle that has this but it makes some sense as the collection of this condensation is what can cause rusting in the bottom of any part of the exhaust system. I am now a little leery of patching up an intentional hole. Have I gotten some bad information about the "weep hole" even existing?

Any help on this would be appreciated.

In 2019 I rolled over a 401k from a former employer. The 401k manager (Fidelity Investments” sent me a 1099-R. I have reached a point in my tax return form that asks if the money rolled over into a “designated” IRA or not. I have tried the “yes” and the “no” options as trials and neither answer changes the result of my taxed amount. (All boxes for taxable amount are 0.00). But I don’t want to answer incorrectly. Any help in this would be appreciated.

I would like to live off of my retirement savings and be paid a monthly stipend from it and be able to pass along the assets after I have passed on. I has heard of such a thing that includes an insurance (paid as a monthly fee) that is much like life insurance to pay my son a minimum amount at my passing. Is this a thing?

No other page’s (that I have found) are affected but after an Ios update my google search results have a very small font. I have tried settings:general:accessibilty with no joy.

I ask because my wife has seen this white smoke (or steam) several times, primarily while driving in the pick up line to get our son from school in the rain. She gets home, pulls our Enclave in the garage, and tells me about it. I have yet to be able to make the steam/smoke show up. This past week during a heavy rain I drove her car. I saw the smoke. I put the car in park, left the car running in the rain and got out and opened the hood. No more smoke. Frustrated, I closed the hood and got back in the car. And saw the smoke. As best I can determine, (maybe because the engine compartment is almost fully covered by a hard plastic) rain runs down onto or is splashed onto the radiator or the grill close enough to the heat to steam up and rise in the front of the car. Has anyone else seen this in these very similar or other vehicles?

We can get some of the songs by using the CDs but this would be so much faster. I could use a “family share” feature as well but we don’t have a credit card registered and on use credit from itunes gift cards. Any suggestions?

With the same type of bulb in both sides, the driver side bulb is significantly less bright than the passenger side bulb. The brighter passenger side seems to have 3 lines of light in the bulb while the less bright driver side bulb has a single pinprick of light. It is almost as if the bulb isn’t “lined up” correctly. The vehicle originally had HID bulbs so it isn’t as if I tried to update/upgrade to HID. The light from a single bulb is sufficent for vision to drive but it bothers me that the brightness is so different in a new bulb.

I have a new headlight bulb in my Enclave replacing one that had went out. The older (not replaced) bulb is brighter than the new bulb. When I look at both bulbs while the lights are on I notice that the new bulb has 1 pinprick point of light while the older bulb has 3 very short lines of light. It might be simply the difference between original equipment and an after market bulb. The bulb is a sylvania and pretty expensive but would still be after market. The car has light now so is legal and with all of the other lighting on the front of the car we could see fine without the bulb, but I am curious why a new light is less bright than an old light.

The company that I worked for has sold some holdings to another company. This includes my job. The new employer does not offer a high deductible/HSA eligible health insurance plan. I can still use the funds in my HSA but each month the manager (Wageworks) charges 6 dollars in fees that had previously been paid by the employer. I know I can’t get to the money without using it for medical expenses but can I transfer it to another manager? Thank you.

The driver’s side headlight on our 2014 Buick Enclave comes on and lights up...until it doesn’t. It stays on a short period and then goes out. I don’t want to pay 400 dollars to have it changed (it is a whole jack up the car, remove the tire, peel back the inside fender plastic thing to get to). But that might be the cost of owning and maintaining the car. What I don’t want to do is pay for a bulb to be replaced and it actually be a ballast or something else. If the bulb comes on for any period and then goes out, that seems to point to a problem other than the bulb itself. Any insight on this would be appreciated. Thank you

The 2 kitchen fixtures run off the same circuit. Both lights were on when the dual 4 foot bulb fixture went blank. I checked the breaker anyway but when tripped off the other light did go out. I changed both 4 foot bulbs and got nothing. I haven’t checked the wall switch but since the fixture in question has 2 wall switches and neither are working I lean against that being the culprit. Maybe ballast but in my limited experience ballast shows trouble (slow starts, flickering, etc) or the bulbs don’t come on but rarely does the light go out while on. Any ideas are better than the none I have. Thank you
