I recently found this gorgeous wool in my craft box. I wanted to make something with it so i searches up how to crochet and knit and let me tell you that aint happin! Since i'm off work i have plenty of time on my hands and I really want to use this wool.

For any woolies out there the package reads:

I have auditions for concert bands coming up. I have braces and am finding it really hard to nail the top notes (E, F and G).

The auditions are this Saturday and I am practising every day: morning and afternoon. My tone always sounds airy and I cannot stop puffing out my cheeks to reach the high notes :(

I used to be a great trumpet player. I really want to get a good spot in the band. Any suggestions? Ideas? Personal experiences?

I am getting so fed up with this :(

I got braces on at the start of this year. I have been playing trumpet since year 6. Before I got my braces on I could reach a high A even a double C some times. Since I have had the braces I can barely play a high G. Today when I was practising I couldn't even play a high E. I am in the best wind band in my school and we have auditions coming up. We are given a small section of a piece to play in front of some judges who mark you on your skills. Because of the high level expected of us the piece is going to be in the upper register. Are there any tips of increasing the upper register or making it more solid or easier to play? I need to work my way up but because of the braces I have had a major set back... Any tips, tricks or advice would be AMAZING!! Thankyou soo much!

Dear Premiere

I am writing to urge your support in helping the Australian film The Bank be produced. More funding is needed to finish this film if Australia, as well as the rest of the world, is going to view it. The Bank has many benefits for Australians. The movie is based around ordinary Australian people and addresses real life issues. It will provide great entertainment for almost anyone. The Bank is written and directed by Robert Connolly, also known as one of the producers behind the Australian movie, The Boys (1997).

The Bank has important morals behind it. It teaches the audience about how important power and money is. Without either of those two things nothing can happen. This movie also reminds people about what banks do and how they work. Consumerism and globalism are just two ideas that are presented in The Bank. People need to know about these issues and this movie is a great way of advertising them. If the film can’t get enough funding there is no way that this film will get finished. Australia needs this film for education. It will remind people of past catastrophes and what might come about in the future. We want Australia to be ready for any global catastrophe that might happen. If a global crisis, much like the Great Depression, were to ever occur again would Australia be ready? By watching The Bank Australians can prepare and understand for times like these.

How much do Australian’s know about banks? The main bank in The Bank, Centabank, is a typical bank. It is corrupt, wanting to cut costs and increase profits. They shut down many branches in outer areas leaving many people no place to access money. Couple in the movie, Wayne and Diane Doyle, are in dire financial straits, trying to avoid eviction notices. Many people in Australia have been in a situation similar to this. If The Bank can get enough funding people all over Australia can see what many less fortunate people have to suffer through. It will also show to the banks of Australia what a massive impact they can have on ordinary people’s lives.

For many years Australia has watched films from overseas, especially America. If The Bank can get enough funding we can finally watch a film that has been created at home. Not many films are being made in Australia. The money that The Bank will make, if enough funding is supplied, will go back into Australia to benefit our communities. Without funding The Bank will never make this money. Movies are one of the most popular sources of entertainment. In the 21st century, movies have excelled very far. The Bank would be a perfect movie for any occasion. It has many genres throughout it including: Revenge Tragedy, action, political, comedy, romance, crime and thriller.

Are there any grammar mistakes or sentences that don't quite sound right?? I also need to write another paragraph as well as a conclusion. The is due Friday. If any one has watched The Bank, directed by Robert Connolly, any suggestions on another paragraph. I would be most happy to hear any suggestions. Thanks for the help, you will have saved my life!!!

My best friend is coming over tomorrow and I have no idea what to do with her!! I have the basic ideas like board games and cooking but we want to do more than this. I have parks and stuff like that around my house but we can't spend any money so it has to be things for free or a very small fee. We don't want to meet up with anyone else either. Just us. I still have roughly 3 weeks left of summer holidays and I am running out of things to do FAST! We are not allowed to spend more than an hour on technology (e.g ipod, computer, tv). Any ideas? Mostly things to do around the house because it is WAY to hot to be out and about!

Each last day of term our class does something outrageous that would embarrass the teacher. In first term we randomly stood up 10 minutes before the bell and sang/shouted "You know that your beautiful!" by 1D to our teacher and she turned bright red but still found it quite funny. In second term she went on holiday. Third term we got 2 people in our class to play a waltz on their violins and the whole class stood up from their desks and danced around the class room then out the door. Since it is end of year we want to pull of something BIG! We have no idea but we don't want it to be harmful, to outrageous or boring. Any ideas would be awesome!

I have major exams coming up in a few weeks and everybody is starting to talk about studying. I have never been good at this and was wondering how other people study and how effective it is for them. I need to memorize meaning and random stuff. Some maths equasions that are not even useful. Any ideas would be GREAT!!

My teacher dropped a bomb on us today and announced that we had an in class essay to write on Friday. The topic is: Literature empowers us to consider the evolutionary nature of humanity. Discuss this statement with reference to a text or texts you have read this year. by the way I am in year 8 and if that doesn't make sense to you, you aren't the only one :) We have read the books The Giver, The Chrysalids, Z for Zachariah.

Our teacher also said that "students that are able to produce an inter-textual approach are likely to receive more marks".

I'm going to this party tonight to celebrate my friend turning 14. I am also 14. She is having a disco party in her garage with around 20 people. It is not casual but definitely not formal. My hair is a blondy brown and is layered. it goes past my shoulders by about 6cm. Have any ideas? I need them before 6pm though!!
