  • What can I expect for actual trade in on my vehicle?

Hello. I have a 2006 Jeep Liberty 3.7 Limited that I'd like to trade in to get something different as I go thru a corporate plan that pays maintenance etc, and the plan is up at the 7 year mark of the vehicle which is in 2 weeks. I bought it new and it has 133k miles on it. I've tried KBB and all of the other websites and haven't really found anything I think they'd actually offer me, it's in great shape, don't get me wrong, but not worth 7K, IMO.

So, dealers, if you are out there, what would I be able to get for it?

  • USPS mail route question?

I ordered a Verizon smartphone from eBay from what I thought was a reputable seller, however I think I was mistaken. The seller shipped the phone, or so he says the very next day, then he sent me an email and said that the package had been lost in the mail, so he's sending out another (who has 2 of the same phone if you only have one available, already sounds fishy) and this one is only tracking that it left the origin sort facility. I live in Cols. OH area and work at a shipment facility and usually whenever we print the label for an item and it may have not have actually gone out, as long as the manifest sheet is scanned, the item could get to as far as Warrendale PA, and we have not even put the item out (has happened a few times on preorders)

So my question is, is there a good chance my item is out there? He claims he shipped it, but I'm beginning to question that. The delivery confirmation # states that it processed thru the Mesa AZ post office, then it tracks to Phoenix 85043 (two days ago) and that's where it stops with no new record on it. I have a case opened on eBay just to see if/when i don't get the item I can get a refund. this whole experience for me has lasted nearly 3 weeks. Is my item actually in the mail-stream, or could this have just been generated by a scan sheet? Any help would be appreciated.

  • How to get Siri to recognize more than one family member?

Hello. I usually am pretty good with this stuff, but can't figure this one out.

I have an iPhone 4S on Verizon. The problem I have is I have more than one aunt, or more than one cousin, or more than one uncle. When I say, text my cousin (with the cousins name) and tell him hi, for example, the first cousin I had preset with SIRI is the only one that comes up.

I have 4 aunts. Siri only recognizes one. So far, I'm stuck. Siri was supposed to be a convenient assistant and so far has, but this is a pretty big downfall.

  • YouTube videos continuing to replay after exiting video?

    Here is an interesting problem,

i'm watching a video on YouTube right? And I back up to go back to the results because I find that the video I originally wanted to watch doesn't show me what I wanted to see, but when I click on the next video, I can still hear the original. I have to pause or X out of the YouTube tab and go back in to fix this. What is causing this?

  • Time warner messing up channels on TV?

Hard to explain what my problem is, and technical support just says they don't know, it's confusing and making me mad.

For example, right now, Friends is on on one of the channels on my TV. The guide at the bottom that shows the time says "Full House" 11-12AM. At present, it's 5:30 here, so I don't see the time difference.

The guide used to work, but now when you press it, has the same schedule as the above part I mentioned. Shows the time as 11Pm or 12A. I've called technical support, we got the box reset (didn't work). Last week, a technician came out to fix our internet (another problem which now is fixed) and we asked him if he could help and he also was stumped as to the problem.

The ON Demand channels reflect data that is to be added around that time, for example, shows that are added after they air and put on On Demand. My current schedule on the two Tv's reflects that this has happened (for example, Long Island Medium and will show the show dates, but won't play)

It's like my box has time-traveled or something here. I'm not sure what's happening, if someone has the same problem and can relate, or maybe can fix it, let me know. I'm just tired of this. The first TV to do this was in my office, the next was the family room. They did this within a months distance of time, not at the same time.

  • Time warner internet completely down?

Just got off the phone with time warner after my internet went kaput. They said my computer is off line and won't work until they can work on the cables in my front yard. I'm the only one in the area with this problem. What is this caused by? How can I avoid it?

  • GTA V question? 10 points for the best answer?

I have GTA V for XBOX360. I had a glitch and had to go back in the game and load another save-point.

My question is, will the XBOX boot my last opened save-point as the default? I am not at home to check and figured someone might know.

  • Windows Vista upgrade questions?

    Hi.

I have a Dell Optiplex 760 machine running XP. Due to the shut-down on XP in April, I'd like to know there is something out there I can definitely use to replace my current existing version of Win XP.

I called the guy that fixes my computers when I'm stumped by problems, and he said that I should be able to run VISTA based on the fact that the COA tag on my computer (it was downgraded by the company that owned before me) has a Vista Business tag, then I can put Vista on it.

    My problems are as follows:

I had a Vista laptop that had the hard drive crap out on it, and I loaded Vista from the manufacturers recovery disk, however kept getting the lock-out message and couldn't proceed further no matter what I did and even though the code was accurate. Is this going to happen here? Can I/we safely install it with a new Vista Business disc (he has one) and go past the message with my COA (which SHOULD still be good) or am I going to screw something up here. i am good as far as software is concerned but I've never upgraded something.

I was told to get the drivers for my device, and I'm going to do that. I assume that Vista will allow me to install the drivers for my Wireless usb adapter so that I can access said drivers? Am I assuming correctly.

Please let me know of additional insight you can offer me. Do you think i should wait until XP is completely obsolete, or is it best to do the move now?

  • Do I need antivirus for PowerPC iBook?

I have an OLD iBook I'd like to get going again to get the feel of mac before I upgrade to the newest MacBook. I'd like to surf the internet on it a little bit and just kinda mess around with it. I WILL be doing emailing and sorts on this so I would like to know if I need antivirus now. I know back in the day when a PowerPC type of iBook was popular you DIDN'T need to get one, but I've heard concerns that there are now virus out for that platform. I'd like to play it safe.

So IF I absolutely NEED to have one, which one (preferably a free one) do I go with?

  • Question about Macbook and wireless?

    I am buying a MacBook

My question is, is this: I want to make sure that the wireless (Apple Airport I'm assuming) will work with my current set up. My current PC which is connected thru the modem is a Windows Machine.

Will I need to change anything with the modem or router? Can I just connect the MacBook as I connect my work laptop and iPhone?

If there is anything I need to change, I'm not sure I'll go thru with this. I need it to work for my phone, and as well as my families computer. I am just intrigued how Mac works and found a really good deal on a used one.

  • Why does my iPhone do this?

I have an iPhone 4S 16GB on Verizon.

Whenever I have a song playing (doesn't matter if ripped from a CD or a downloaded track), if any button is pressed, maybe the lock screen after I turn on a track of song, the song either skips back to the way beginning, or to some random point in the song. Then the phone will start back to where it was playing when the problem started. It has now started doing this all the time, before it was just a little bit. I've restored and re-installed everything to no avail. It doesn't bother me excessively, I just wonder why it happens.

All of this started after iOS 7 upgrade, so I'm beginning to think that, that is part of what's causing this.

  • Patellar dislocation help?

Hi, hoping someone can help me here.

I was getting a heavy object off of the floor (a large table) to move over and clean the floor. As I lifted I used the wall for support on my back which I guess was a bad decision. I fell and dislocated my left knee, was told it was a patella dislocation. All veins/tendons are still in place according to the x-rays they took. I have a doctors appt. scheduled for Friday. I talked to the doctor at the ER I was ambulanced to and he didn't seem to know any of my questions answers, as he said it all depended on how everything turned out. As the pain was bad I was "put out" for the replacement and I'm not sure what went on, although I know it was very hard to put back into place and popped out once

    My questions are:

How long will I have to have my immobilizer on?

After the immobilizer is removed will I be able to walk immediately?

Will I be able to go back to old activities as I was or will I have to do physical therapy and not be as active for awhile?

I am able to stand and brush my teeth etc, without pain. Can maneuver around fine on crutches but still cannot drive.

This is the first time anything like this has happened. The only thing I can think of is that maybe I banged my knee hard on the way down, but to be honest, it happened sooo fast it's hard to tell what really happened.

Any input you can give will be greatly appreciated.

  • Should I buy a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am?

Looking at getting a 2000 Grand am with 170k as a commuter when I don't want to put a lot of miles on my truck.

    Original owner

Maintained it's whole life with all service records available

Will need new tires soon as well as a rear window regulator for the left side.

The seller is a guy from my city, and he's only asking 900$. We live in Florida, so there's no rust.

The guy at my dealership said if it's a 3.4 (it is) they last usually until 200k, but have trouble too.

I'm not sure what to think here. All of the problems the car could have (read up on the car) it doesn't have. The car doesn't even have a scuff. As I said, original owner, no accidents. He just wanted to get something newer is what he said. What stuff do I need to watch out here for? Is it a good deal? How much should I offer him?

  • Will restoring my phone leave any info?

I got the iPhone 5c when it came out and now feel it's time to sell my old phone. My last phone is an Android (DROID RAZR M)'m just wondering, if a restore is done, there's no chance in finding info is there? I don't want someone to find my passwords or anything like that. I know it's probably a dumb concern but worries me anyway.

    Thanks for any help

  • Honda CRV question regarding airbag?

I am looking into getting a Honda CRV (2011) for my girlfriend. I pulled the CarFax and Autocheck on both (dealer offered one and I had a CarFax membership). Both state no accidents, however, in one service record both indicate "Black Box retrieval and Airbag Data retrieval". I don't know much about crash analysis, but I assume this means the SUV was in an accident? Would I be wrong in assuming this? Does this mean the airbags have deployed? Any help would be greatly appreciated. The dealer I am looking at is reputable and the CRV has fairly low mileage (15k)

  • Is a DROID formatted SD card compatible with Blackberry?

    Hello,

I have a Droid RAZR cell phone at present and upgraded thru work as my battery went out on the RAZR. I got the new Z10 phone, and am wondering if my memory card is going to be compatible with this phone-- will I lose my pictures, will I lose my music. I paid for these songs on my old phone and they transferred over fine (last phone was a droid as well). I just don't want to have the risk of losing everything.

Also, how is the learning curve of the Z10 compared to the RAZR? I am pretty good with technology but as the Z10 is not in my hands yet i cannot attest to how good it actually is.

  • What would you do in this type of situation?

    Hi,

I have a company-supplied cell phone (DROID RAZR)- recently the battery really started going out fast, and now barely lasts 4 hours. i've done all of the recommended stuff that Verizon and my IT recommend, however it's not doing the trick. I'm out of warranty as well. I can pay to get the battery replaced or get the Blackberry Z10 for 85.00- What would you do in this situation? I don't have the quote for the battery replacement, but i'm kinda torn here, I'd like to try something new, but at the same time I really like my Droid.

  • '97 Miata for 1300, good deal?

Has 182k on it, no accidents and one owner. Looking at getting for a first car for my girlfriends sister, good deal? I know foreign cars usually last but I am not sure. It's a FL car so no rust or anything like that, the mileage just scares me.
