My daughter just brought home baby chick. I have never raised a baby chick. Any advice while we find a new home for it?

We have had a garden for a few years now and most everything grows wonderfully. However, my carrots will not grow. I have tried different varieties and planting in different spots but they only get about a inch long and that is it. Any suggestions?

Is there a difference? I am looking at buying a Insignia 47" LCD tv and I want to also know if if is a good tv for the price. It is from Best Buy if that makes a difference.

My grandma used to make a chocolate cookie with a marshmallow on top covered with chocolate and a walnut half on top every christmas and I want to make them for my sister this year but I do not have the recipe. Can any one help. It was not a chocolate crinkle dressed up. the cookie was different.

I know that vegans do not consume animal products but how about your pets and if you buy your pets treats or clothing is it vegan to? Is it hard to find vegan pet products?

We are having a huge thanksgiving (at least 20 people) and at least one is a vegetarian and i know the basics about no meat and such but is there other foods that we should watch out for like marshmallow's.

Here is what we are planning on having aside from the meat : Baked beans_no meat in them only ketchup, mustard, brown sugar and molasses;baked sweet potato's; corn; broccoli au gratin; a veggie tray; potato's au gratin; baked squash;dinner rolls; mashed potato's; mashed sweet potato's and other stuff possibly.

I do know that she will eat cheese and probably eggs to but I 'm not sure about the eggs

If you don't know what you are getting don't buy.

I have a hairless Chinese Crested and it is his first winter. We are already getting snow and he is reluctant to go outside even with his coat, pants and shoes on. I know he needs exercise but short of playing fetch all day any ideas for him to get his exercise. I would get a treadmill but I have no space for one.

My teen daughter(15) is full of opinions about my life lately. She has no problem voicing them to me and telling me how much I do wrong. I know that part of it is that she is a teen but sometimes it is hurtful to hear that she thinks I am selfish. When will she see all that I have sacrificed for her and her siblings?

stand on the couch and look down into her crate and whine. she only does it once in a while.

when I let her in sh wants right back out. I take her toys out of it during the day and have tried putting her out to but she wants right back in the house. Her sister does not ever do this.
