what does it mean when your crush uses 'po'?
can some tagalog-speakers help me out?
there is a girl who likes me. we speak english with each other. she's 18 and i'm 25. she's been shy when communicating feelings with me and now she's started introducing 'po' into her messages. for example:
"hi po"
or
"miss na po kita"
is there a reason for this? i understand the usage of "po" when speaking to elders or when working customer service, but not in this situation. can someone enlighten me on why she might be using it now?
thank you in advance.
1 AnswerLanguages6 years agoWhat's the oldest story in the Abrahamic tradition?
this probably belongs more appropriately in the mythology section, but what's the oldest story in old testament, even if it's pretty much a rehash of an older story? and if it has a moral to it.. what would that be?
thanks to anyone who might know.

8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years ago"Being gay is not a choice"?
i have a question. i hear this statement being brought to the defense and justification of people being gay all the time and it makes me wonder: if non-choice is supposed to foster support and acceptance for those who are gay, does it mean that if the opposite were true, (that being gay was indeed a choice), then we have less reason to accept gays as equals? and if so, why is that?
thank you for your time and thoughts in advance.
9 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender7 years agoWould you say something to someone smoking in a place where it's illegal to smoke?
for example, let's say you were in the middle of a crowded dancefloor in a nightclub and someone is smoking.. would you say something to him/her? would you go to security? i personally feel it's wrong to endanger the health of everyone nearby you for your selfish reasons. not to mention it's illegal.
what would you do?
