Is Artificial Insemination going to destroy Britain?
Did you see the article about the girl who was born from AI and then found out her sperm donor father had also been responsible for the birth or thousands of other babies as well?! She had to ask all her boyfriends who their fathers were in case she met someone from the same "bloodline" as herself and produced an idiot child as a result! Could this become a serious problem with even more runts born in this country than before through interbreeding?
7 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoWhy is it illegal to run a diesel engine on chip oil?
Is this not another example of meddlesome busybody politics? It used to be illegal to make your own electricity. People are being fined for recycling car fuel but also fined for not recycling their bottles and cans is this not a case of double standards?
Refined chip oil has no carbon footprint so my friend tells me and is even more environmentally friendly than diesel you buy in the garage.
I can't see the logic.
33 AnswersAlternative Fuel Vehicles1 decade agoGiven that we rarely deserve Heaven or Hell when we die why not imagine we come back as a Human Being?
Few people really deserve eternal damnation or eternal paradise after they die especially if they blow themselves up. Why is it so hard to make the assumption that we just wind up being born as a human being again? Energy does not disappear that's a scientific fact. We are bundles of energy and that doesn't go away.
The body doesn't disappear at death it just changes into something else so why assume the mind or soul* disappears? Its not even scientific.
*(by "soul" I don't mean some eternal tracking device put there by God or Brahma or whoever I just mean the changing bundle of bad habits we call ourselves).
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy do Christians believe in Heaven but deny the existence of Hell?
Surely you can't just believe in one without accepting the existence of the other? How else can Christianity make sense of the existence of suffering in God's perfect creation?
25 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoThis may have been asked all ready but Does anyone know any really funny Buddhist jokes?
Don't tell me the one about the Buddhist at the Hot Dog stand asking to be made one with everything.
