  • Foot Injury From Cycling?

so bit of a backstory, i have a bad foot anyway as when i was 16 i broke my hip and i stretched the nerve in my leg that gives the foot movement so i cant move my foot up and down i have what they call a foot drop.

luckily i have a splint that enables me to be able to walk and do day to day act ivies. I am a big guy and this past week it was nice outside and i decided to bike to my mums house (aprox 10 minutes) it was a little difficult and i struggled a little but i made it there and back in one piece at least thats what i thought.

i woke up monday morning and my foot was killing i tried to walk and was met with instant pain down the back of the heel and under the ankle. as of writing this its still in pretty bad shape and i still havnt been able to put weight on my foot at all and under my ankle is really swollen. i dont think anything is broken or fractured.

anyone know what the injury could be and should i get it checked by the doctor?

  • Foot drop surgery.?

Probably notthe best place to come but the internet is a wonderful place so here it goes.

A few years back roughly 4/5 years I broke my hip and stretched the nerve in my leg which caused me to have a foot drop and need a splint to help me walk.

Doing a little digging around and it turns out there is a surgery procedure that could help so I wouldn't need to have a splint. Well I was thinking about the surgery and i was wondering what it would of a actually help. Like would I get a full use of my foot again. Etc

  • Keyboard issue?

so my brother was touching my keyboard even after telling him no and now i have a problem.

to start with when i tried the keyboard on the web, pressing the letter T would open a new tab so i thought the ctrl button would be stuck or somthing, turns out thats not right but i temporly solved this by pressing ctrl+alt+del and then canceling that. everything works fine untill i restart/turn off the pc and everything boots back up.

the other issue is that the left Ctrl key doesnt work at all and it did before. so many the 2 things have somthing to do with each other,

any help or suggestions would be greatly apreciated thanks

  • Doing boxing with a foot drop?

Okay so a few years ago I broke my hip and stretched the nerve in my leg and as I result I have a footdrop and I'm forced to wear a carbon fibre splint in my shoe that goes up my shin to walk. What I am wondering is if I would be able to wear the splint in my boot if I decided to take up boxing. Iknow it's hard to answer if you've never experienced this yourself or anyone else but maybe someone out there has an answer that would help me. Thank you
