  • Paid leave for "failed" drug test?

My husband was given a random drug test at his plant job that was positive for marijuana(even though he hasn't smoked in almost 7 years!). The company fired him and all the other employees who tested positive. 8 days later called him and said the results got mixed up and his test was actually clean and he can start working again along with a few others who's test got mixed up. Alot of rumors are going around saying they are gonna be required to do a paid leave since it was there mistake. My Q, is the company required to do a paid leave or not?

  • Do they drug test at emergency rooms?

I've had HORRIBLE abdominal pains on and off for about a month. I hoped it would go away at first(I dont have insurance, or much money to see a doctor) but it's been getting worse and worse. Well last night a friend came over and suggested I smoke some pot with her to see if that helped the pain. Well this morning it keeps flaring up ALOT worse than normal, it is ALOT worse than the labor with both my kids. I just wanna go to the emergency room but worried if they drug test, and if they do and I fail what will they do?

P.S That was the only time I've smoked in the past 7 years and have never touched anything else.

  • Mother dog wont pick up her puppies?

Our dachshund had her puppies 5 days ago, she been nursing and cleaning them all like she should be. BUT today they have been getting out of their bed on there own and get lost(since they are still blind). Their mother will run to them and try to nudge them back to their bed and run to the bed leaving the puppy then back to the puppy to nudge it and start all over again. She will NOT pick them up with her mouth or anything. After about 10 I'll just put the puppy back myself after watching her. How can I get her to carry them? Is this normal behavior?

  • Is salmonella contagious?

I know this may seem crazy I don't know this but is salmonella contagious? My mother recently ended up picking up a nasty case of salmonella and and her doctor said she will need someone to help her around her house for the next few days. So I've been at her house during the days for the past 4 days but today I started vomiting, and having diarrhea, with horrible stomach cramps, but no fever. I already have an appointment with my doctor but it's not till Thursday(ugh).

  • Risks of being sued if someone drowns or injured in my swimming pool?

I know homeowners have a risk of being sued if someone is injured or drowns in their swimming pool. Even if they are not aware of the person even being on their property.

So here is my question. I'm thinking about getting a above ground pool for my kids(I will move the ladder away from the pool when not in use, have a cover over it and ALWAYS be out there while we are using it.) We do not own our house just renting, but want to know if we will still have the same risk of being sued if an accident did occur as a homeowner?

The only reason its a concern is we do have a shady person living 3 houses down that's tried suing others in the area for extremely frivolous stuff. But if it's not a liability I would love for the kids to have a pool to help beat this Texas heat in the summer.

  • Not losing weight, but losing pants sizes?

Ever since I had my 2nd baby(he turns 2 years old next month), like most moms tried to lose the weight. I was 125 when I got pregnant and was 187 the day I left the hospital after having him. By his first birthday I was 165 wearing a size 18, well I'm STILL 165 pounds I've always worked out 5-6 times a week, I also go on 4x a week jogs doing exactly 1.2 miles. I eat healthy, I'm now in a size 9 and my body looks 100% different. Other people have remarked about how much weight I've lost, but that's the problem not 1 pound in a year but 9 sizes down! Does anyone have an explanation or any advice?

  • Can I sell a car with no title in Texas?

I bought a car from someone and she signed off that it is 100% paid for but now she is saying she can't find the title. I went down to the DMV and got papers for a new one that all she has to do is sign and a copy of her id/drivers license now she is saying she can't find that either! I am sick of every excuse! I am wanting to get rid of the car and get something else. Can I legally sell the car? If not what can I do so I can legally sell it?

P.S I can not get the original owner to do ANYTHING.
