My Acer laptop is experiencing some issues and I wondered if anyone could help me? It's not recognizing my CD/DVD drive. I was able to temporarily fix the issue by restoring the computer back to a previous date, but that only lasted for a day. I installed my Sims 2 games and when I went start it up, it first gave me an error code saying to insert the original disk instead of a copy. It WAS the original disk. I cleaned the disk and put it back in and got another error message about the CD/DVD drive not being recognized. I have had the Sims 2 installed on my laptop for a month or so and still had plenty of storage left. I have tried a few things to get my computer to recognize the drive again, but they seem to be only temporary fixes. It probably needs to be taken to a repair shop, but my usual shop is currently closed. I'm open to other suggestions that might help me fix the issue while stuck at home. Thanks in advance!

I was trying to trim it and ended up saving the part I wanted to trim and deleting the part I wanted to keep. Instead of selecting to save it as another clip, I chose "trim original". I know it's probably not possible, but I just wondered if there is any way to undo what I did and restore it back to the original length?

I am participating in something called anon love week on tumblr, and my person accidentally sent me a message off anon. I know there are ways to find out who an anon is, so I wondered if there was a way to publish this message and make it look like an anonymous person sent it? I just don't want them to feel bad and think they've ruined the surprise since we have a few days left until they are supposed to reveal themselves!

My iPod touch has been acting weird for the past couple of weeks now. None of my apps will load properly and sometimes they will just close by their self while I am using them. Apps have also been asking for my log in information more frequently and then they will just shut down after I log in. The most frustrating app is my kik. It will tell me I have a message, but when I click on the conversation, there is nothing there. Or sometimes I will send a message and it will just disappear on my end, but I know it delivered properly because the person will respond. Also, it could have a full charge when I go to bed at night, but the battery will be drained and the iPod dead when I wake up. The iPod itself has also been freezing up and randomly shutting off. It will also give me messages saying my storage is full or almost full, even after I cleared out a ton of stuff. All this seemed to start when I started using a Duracell USB charger. I've had the iPod for almost 3 years now too. Could it be the new charger causing these problems, or is it just because I've had it for a while now?

How do I add posts to my Tumblr queue on the Tumblr app? I am going out of town for the weekend to spend time with family and I won't be as active as I normally am.

I have an iPod touch 5th generation and am having trouble uploading a video to my profile using the Facebook app. Please help!

I am new to Tumblr and need some funny blogs to follow. I see funny stuff posted on ifunny all the time and I just wondered if anyone knew of some really popular Tumblr blogs that I would enjoy. I also like Hunger Games, Harry Potter, The Vampire Diaries, Glee, Supernatural, and The Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit. I am going on vacation next week and will be in the car for about 7 hours or so on my way to Florida. I will not have wifi for most of the trip, so I need to download some apps that I can use without wifi. I will be taking books and other things to entertain me as well, just really would like to have some more cool apps on my iPod. Any suggestions??

I am going on a long road trip to Panama, Florida. It it around 7 hours from where I live. I want to know how I can use my iPod touch (5th gen) without wifi? It is going to be a long trip so I would love to be able to entertain myself with YouTube, Netflix, etc.

I have tried the Goodie brand and another cheaper brand. I am looking for a sporty type of stretchy headband that will stay in place. They all seem to stretch too much and slide off my head. I am only asking because I don't want to waste anymore money on products that aren't going to work.

I am looking for a title to a movie I watched as a child. I don't remember much about it, but I know it had a child (boy, but I think a girl was in the story, too) that traveled with some kind of animal. I believe they traveled around on a bed, too. I wanna say it's Disney, but could be wrong. It has been driving me crazy trying to figure it out. I was born in 1988, so it's a movie from that time or older. Oh and it's a cartoon. I think it had something to do with the kid's nightmares as well. If anybody can make sense of what I'm talking about and has any clue, please help me out! Thanks. :)

My cousin has 3 cats and has tried lots of things to mask the smell of their litter box in her small apartment. It doesn't bother me so much when I stay over, but other people say they can smell it when they come in and she often complains about the smell herself. I wanted to get her one of those wax warmers for Christmas, but just wondered if that would be a good idea? Most all the warmers melt the wax on top, so I am worried about them making a mess with the wax. Don't want to create a bigger mess for her, just thought it might help with the smell. Anyone have any experience with wax warmers and cats?

I got water in my ear the other night when I took a shower and now I have a severe case of swimmer's ear. My ear is really swollen, almost so much that I cannot hear out of it. I have been taking antibiotics, but they haven't really seemed to help much. Ibuprofen seems to be the only thing that helps with the pain. Any suggestions to help the swelling go down?

I have lost my cell phone and was going to switch my number to one of our old phones. The last phone my mother had was a Samsung Intensity and I was going to switch to that. But unfortunately, she dropped it in a glass of Diet Coke, so that's why she ended up getting a new one. The phone acts like it is trying to work. I have it plugged to my computer with a usb charger, and it keeps flashing the verizon symbol like it's charging or gonna come on. But when I try to turn it on, it doesn't work. Any suggestions? It's too late to put it in rice or do anything else to try to dry it out.

I have been playing my sim family for a while now. They have 3 children and none of them have grown into adults yet. I just wondered if they ever grow up? If so, about how long does it take to grow from a child to an adult?

I am wanting to print something on canvas for my momma's birthday. I was thinking maybe a bible verse or something from Psalms. Just curious what your favorite Bible verses or other quotes from the Bible are? I am looking for something that she could maybe hang in the house once it's printed. I recently downloaded The Sims Deluxe Edition onto my laptop. My laptop is a couple of years old and hasn't been running right. It keeps freezing and crashing on me. I am going to put Sims 1 on my brother's laptop so that I can play with losing my game. I wondered if there is anyway I can transfer my saved game from my laptop to my brother's?

I found a teacher's prayer on Pinterest that I wanted to print, laminate, and frame to give to my little sister's teachers as gifts this year. I did not like the font that the prayer was in, so I re-typed it in a different font in Word. How do I now resize that document so that it will print in a 4x6 format so that I can frame it? I tried to figure it out on my own, but was unsuccessful and didn't like the way it look when printed out. Please help!
