Are Christians free from sin?
Even though all people, believers and nonbelievers sin, are Christians at risk in any way from the sins they commit? Scriptue states that for believers, all things are permissible, only not beneficial. Jesus erased the sins of the church with His death on the cross, so, i inderstand this to mean that eternally, sin has NO hold over believers, however, here; on earth, sin still has consequences...any thoughts?

10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWith science ever changing, why should we believe the current opinions are true?
Pluto used to be a planet. The earth used to be flat. Tobacco was said to be harmless. Science changes its view on most major issues every generation. If you doubt this, simply look it up. Scientific facts are more often than not, proven false.
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoQ for "Christian-Homosexuals"?
With respect, I ask you what your relationship with Christ is regarding repentance of sin. Often times, when the Lord had forgiven someone of their sin, He told them to go their way and sin no more. I asked, is it possible to be a Christian and actively continue to sin with sexual immorality without at least trying to stop? Thank you for the serious responses. Blessings.

5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhat would a world that outlawed lying be like?
With the levels of lie detection available to us today, I say we outlaw lying and make it punishable by either death, or banishment. Opinions?
***keep in mind, lying is defined as telling an untruth that you know is a falsehood...
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhat are decent reasons for allowing abortion?
The root purpose of sex is for procreation. If, we are aware that this often results in pregnancy, why would anyone do such an act if they are unwilling to handle the responsibility of said action?
*Please only respond concerning pregnancies that are the result of consensual activities, and do not pose a vital health risk for the host.
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhat is the proven, or oldest origin of morality?
Does any text out date the Bible at teaching morality? If so, what? And why is it that the Bible gets all the credit in the world's legal systems basis, if it is not the original source?
As the atheists often say, please back up your claims with verifiable proof, lol.
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhy should anyone ever even know if someone is homosexual?
Whether or not someone has a sexual preference that matches your own or not, is this not a private thing? I am a Christian and feel that sinners will be dealt with by God as He sees fit. I do not have ill feelings towards people who believe differently than I, and live by a "to each his own" kind of way. Yet, I cannot figure out why it is that what someone does in their private life is something that is broadcast to the public as though they expect a special treatment for their taboo lifestyle.
Should we expect that people who have taboos of a straight nature will soon be looking for customized rights according to this choice?

Though I am a creationist, I am not mocking or attempting to debunk your belief. I am simply asking a question that I was curious about.

13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhy do atheists not realize that, we Christians, have nothing to prove to them?
Atheists say there is no God, and from their point of view, they are correct. For them, there is no salvation. If they are not chosen by God, they cannot believe anyway! John 6:44 Jesus did not try to convince anyone of anything. He spoke to those who sought after the truth, and those who did not, He left alone. They were not His sheep. We have no burden of proof. If they believe, great...if not, that is God's choosing.

11 AnswersLaw & Ethics8 years agoDo people "care" about issues just to kill time since they are here, waiting to die?
We are here, on this rock, right? So, I gather that politics, money, social status' and so on are simply just things that we have invented to cause time to move by more hastily. Simple distractions that allow us to focus our attentions on anything other that why we are really here.
