I currently have a Motorola SURFboard Gateway Wireless Cable Modem/Router (less than 6 months old) and it causes my internet to go much slower than it should be and the internet is in and out every single day. We used to have a seperate Modem and Router (linksys) and it worked fine...We currently use Charter as our internet service and we have 4 total computers that use the internet throughout the day...is there a good modem/router combo that would work good for us? Or is it better to buy a modem and router separate? Which brands and why?

I seen my doctor today and she wanted to take my blood to check my kidneys, ect...make sure everything is okay with me since I havent seen her in 2 years...i'm 10 weeks pregnant, since she's not my OB/GYN, will it come up in that blood test that i'm pregnant, or is that a completely different test that should be done?

I purchased a used 2007 Chrysler Aspen from this HUGE popular dealership in 2009 and we went back last Friday to see if we could get a better interest rate and possibly get a new car. We ended up getting a 2011 Dodge Durango and 3.90% interest rate. When they called about the Aspen for the payoff, the dealer told me that it would be $15,100. They wanted to give us $14,000 for the Aspen and our payments would be very high, we said we couldn't do those payments. After being there for about 2 hours, they came back saying they would give me $19,900 for my Aspen, my interest rate will be 3.90% and my payments will be $419. We accepted, signed all the paperwork and left with our new car. Today, 6 days later, the dealer calls us and says they need us to sign a few more things for our trade in. When we get there, they tell us that we actually owed $16,200 on my Aspen and now they need $1000 and they had the new contract up and ready for us to sign and our payments would be up to $440 a month. We said no, we signed the contract for $419 a month last week and the contract specifically says that the payoff number was $15,100 and you were paying $19,900 for it. I asked what would be the repercussions if we don't sign the new contract, the dealer acted stupid and said 'well, it could go on your credit......' and just stuttered.

I told them its your problem, you fix it, i'm not signing anything and left.

Is this a scam? It's been about 5 hours since we left and they haven't called us again. What happens next? Will they not pay off my other car loan even if I signed away that car? Has anyone ever heard of this? Any advice or help with this is appreciated!

Here's my story....I had the Mirena for 3 1/2 years and I had it taken out May 13. My last menstrual cycle was Jun 3- Jun 7. Jun 8, hubby and I began trying to become pregnant and have been trying every other day but we tried every single day starting Jun 14-18 because I thought I may be ovulating during that time. Now we are going back to every other day.

If I was to be pregnant right now, when will it show up on a pregnancy test? I have been testing every morning with Wondfo Test Strips just in case I might see a faint positive line but it hasn't happened yet.

Can anyone give an estimated time when it may show up positive if I were pregnant? And is there a pregnancy test that can show results quicker besides the strips I am using?

I removed my Mirena May 11 because I wanted to become pregnant in June. But then I got my period June 3rd and it ended Monday, June 6th. Before I buy ovulation tests, can anyone give me an estimated guess as to when I can become pregnant? We began trying Tuesday, I don't want to keep taking pregnancy tests, so when is about the time it would show up on the test positive (if I were to become pregnant).

I hope these questions are too confusing and someone can help me a little bit ;)

I am pregnant and I am trying to figure out if I will be elgible for medicaid or not here in Georgia. I've made phone calls but no one is giving me straight forward answers.

I am married and have a 5 yr old daughter and since I am pregnant, would this be considered a Household of 3 or 4 (which would include the unborn child). My husband made $39,000 last year and I have no income. After looking this over:

Last year my husband exceeded the amount by $2000, thats having a household of 3. If we were a household of 4, we would be fine since it says we need to make $44,000 or less.

This year, we have not exceeded over $2500 each month, which would still be okay for a household of 3, but household of 4 would be better.

Does anyone know if I would be eligible for medicaid since I am pregnant and what do they go by to see if I am eligible or not? Last years income or current income?

I thought I could try and apply for medicaid without being pregnant to see if I would be approved, but this morning I found out that I need to make an appointment to take a pregnancy test and then they will approve or deny me after that point.

I plan on having my 2nd child pretty soon, June is when I want to become pregnant and the baby will be born in March 2012. I have no insurance now, will it be possible to receive insurance 6 months before I become pregnant? Which is the best and why? I don't want Medicaid.

BEWARE OF THE DUST

This is a true story...the names have been changed to protect the guilty and the embarrassed!

A tech was sent into a really nice, 3 level home to add bullnose and refinish the kitchen counters. The tech had been trained for the job and situation. However, without erecting a zip wall barrier AND without setting up any ventilation, the tech proceeded to sand the filler along the newly installed bullnose. After an hour or so of sanding, dust had settled throughout the main level of the house. The heating system had not been turned off so dust was also dispersed to the other two levels of the house. The house was almost totally covered with dust!

Needless to say the customer freaked out. Despite assurances the filler dust was non-toxic, the customer began experiencing headaches and asthma type symptoms. Demanding a third party cleaning service, the final bill came to $4800 to clean every inch of carpet, bedding, walls, ductwork, plants, furniture, etc, etc.!

The lesson here is....your techs MUST be properly trained and equipped. And they must understand the importance of following their training. Even if you think your techs would never do this, take this story and share it with them. Make sure this never happens to you!

Oh yea, the tech was fired for not following procedures!

I am very shy and wish I wasn't but I really want to participate in my daughters school life. I think this would be a big step for me if I volunteer but i'm just so nervous. Can anyone that has volunteered at book fairs before, please let me know what to expect if I do volunteer. Will I see my daughter at all?

Is there anything else that you would recommend I also try just to get over this fear? I'm just afraid of screwing something up and make a fool of myself....

and I really hate it, it pulls out my hair and its actually too big, I think a 1" straightener would be better for my hair. Can anyone recommend a good straightener for my type of hair and its not more than $35. I also want it to get hot quick and its very hot!

I have NO windows on the left side of my entire house and I am wanting to get one installed, nothing big at all. My house is stucco, whats the estimated cost for something like this? And what type of company would I have to call?

The things Martin has told me about everything that has happened between the both of you has frustrated me in the past and you have to understand why I would be frustrated. I know you wanted to be with him repeatedly throughout our relationship and this is the reason why I don't want the both of you communicating. I am sorry to here about your condition, I am not too sure what is wrong, but I wish you well. I have seen that you have been writing David quite a few times and he told me about it. And then I just finished reading your last message and I don't think you understand what David meant when he sent you a message a few hours ago. David and I have been together for eight years, he's my heart and soul and we never have any drama in our relationship but when you appear, it always leads to an argument. In the beginning of our relationship, I remember him talking to you on the phone while we were together and I was actually in the car one time when the both of you were talking and all I remember was the both of you flirting and we almost ended our relationship that evening. Then he leaves for Mexico to visit his family, which devastated me because I was here by myself without him and I counted down the days until he returned. I find out later when he comes back that the both of you go on a date and that caused an even bigger argument. Were there any other times the both of you did things without me knowing? And now your back writing him on Facebook. I completely understand why you want to reach out to your friends but you have to understand where i'm coming from and why its not a good idea for you and my husband to speak anymore. It really frustrated me that you can tell him to be sure to check his Facebook on his birthday after he sent you a message making it clear that the messages should stop.
