For years i've used turbotax and my federal refund has typically been about $300 to $350, plus $200 state. This last year I started to take classes again finishing my bachalor's degree, and I am paying for it out of picket. In turbotax, after inputting my 1098-T form information and books fees, turbotax spat out a federal refund of $1,797, which is almost the entire difference between last years refund and what I paid out of picket for tuition and books. It's labeled as American Opportunity Credit. Did I do something wrong or is this normal? (cause I was totally not expecting that).

Can Chase Bank cancel my credit cards (all of which I pay in full every month) if I lose my job? They would obviously know I lost my job when my bi-weekly paychecks are no longer direct deposited.

I would like to know if they can do this whether I lose the job at no fault of my own and I receive unemployment benefits, or whether I lose the job at fault of my own AND am NOT eligible for unemployment benefits due to the reason of termination (which won't go into because the employer cannot legally disclose the reason for termination - only that the reason for involuntary termination results in no unemployment benefits)

I'm in the middle of configurating xpadder so I can use my xbox 360 controller to play modern warfare 2 on the PC with a controller. (feel like relaxing on couch for a single player game without mouse/keyboard)... but I've come to the realization that I have no idea what the xbox 360 control scheme is for this game. I've spent 10 minutes searching and cannot find it.

I just got my new prescription glasses two days ago, which have helped me a great deal in seeing and reading things at a distance, but I feel uncomfortable wearing them sitting at a computer, almost to the point of the glasses causing me a headache, so I've simply resorted to taking them off at the computer.

Is this normal? Do nearsided individuals normally take glasses off for reading books/using a computer, etc?

Just got an eye exam, and ordered two pairs of glasses for nearly $600. Now I want to order some cheap backup glasses from Zenni optical, but the forms they use to select prescription don't match the format I was given on the prescription.

On this website orderform the:

The Sphere choices are from -20 to +13

The Cylinder selection is from +5.75X to -6.00X

My "papillary distance" is not listed on the prescription, but I have to select between 35 and 95.

I don't understand this; is my OD-Sphere -10.00x? or -1.00x? If my Cylinder selection is 7.5... well that isn't even an option...

Also, is it normal to have 25 axis in one eye and 175 in the other?

I'm leaving shortly to hit up kohl's and men's warhouse to look at suits.

I'm not coming home today until i've either purchase, or placed an order for, a full suit, shoes, matching dress shirt and tie.

I definitly need to get measured, and would like to know if the store "Men's warehouse" will charge me a fee(can't do it myself, don't have the tape), and how much it is.

I'm looking for a Linux distro that meets two criteria.

1.) Has support for Realtek 802.11b/g RTL8185 (works off the back on installation.)

2.) Has GOOD support of NTFS (Read, write, edit, delete, copy), including external media and network shares.

I've used Ubuntu 6,7& 8, Mandriva, openSUSE, and Knoppix.

Ubuntu 7(native) and Mandriva(ndiswrapper) have been the only to have the Realtek card recognized, and Knoppix is the only one to support NTFS for external media. All distros supported NTFS copying using "sudo chmod 777" or "gksudo nautilus" commands but only on the installations local drive.

I take a prescription tablet or capsule of Doxycycline for acne, I have been now for 2 years. As well as two other topical medications.

Every 90 days I have to pay $125 for an office visit to simply ask for a fresh handwritten prescription so the pharmacy can fill it for me. My insurance only covers $40 of the visit >_<

I am literally in the dermatologists office for only 5 minutes! And it's a $125 charge for "Acne Surgery"
