I have bulbs of Daffodils, Gladiolus, Muscari, Hycinths,Anemone and ranunculus tubers. I am living in an area where temperatures in summer reach to 45 Celcius from MAY to SEP. I hang all the bulbs (after they bloom in spring) in mesh in a dark room, temperature 24 C inside home. I have just observed all of them are getting dried, there scales are coming off, are they going to die now, i just put them on top of compost in a shoe box and seal it , will this help them ? i need your help . can i leave the bulbs out doors in pots at this temperature of 45 C for 5 months?

Two days ago my hen fell from the tree branch (she use to sleep on tree ) , i thought it is dead, her legs paralyzed, but she was breathing, so i put her in the carton and provide her food/water, now today she jumped out of the carton and start walking, although not as good as before but it appears her legs are getting improved, i didn't give any medicine , she might be 100% fit in another day or so:

1. Was she having Markes Disease or someting else ?

2. What are teh other indications of MArkers disease , i guess it because her legs were paralyzed ?

3. Can i put her back with other hens/chicks ?

Three days ago she sat on 14 eggs and until then she is not eating/drinking. I put the bowls in her coop but still she hasn't consumed any thing. Will she starve to death, i dont want to disturb her by forcing her out might she never go back to nest ?

last year i had one hen and one rooster they mate and produce one more hen, i brought this year one more hen from market so total 3 hens and a rooster, but the rooster is not mating with other two hens, atleast i havent seen him doing it, all hens are laying eggs now, is it only my wrong thinking or is it possible that rooster is choosy and will not mate with the other two hens?

What should be the ratio of manure to soil in a container if i have to grow spring blooming annuals (like Pansies, Petunias, Anterhiniums, stocks and sweet peas) also what is your opinion about bulbs in container and the requirement of manure ?

I have bulbs of Caladiums, Gladiolus, Daffodils,Narcissus, Hycints, Allium and Crocus. If i leave these bulbs in the pot after blooming for the next year,will they be able to survive and bloom again, what precautions to adopt , should i have to water them after they die out during restig period, here mx temp in summer is 50 C and minimum 3 to 4 C in wintrs.Any suggestions please?

i have just purchased a cockatiel , i found him very easy to handly at the shop as compared to others, now i feel he is boring and for last three days not even a single time he made any sound. whenever i put him on lamp or table he reamins there until i moved him away, when i pick him on my hand he tries to get away. is he not comfortable or what. iam giving hem seeds and he eats a few shall i try somethign else ? i want him to whistle or atleast scream. The problem is he is very quiet and show no movements just sit and sit and sitting.

I have a broody hen, today is day 25 and still only one chick came out, precisely it came out on day 23, i crack an egg yesterday and found blood coming out of crack so i threw it , i dont know what the blood indicates. What to do ? Shall i wait for the other eggs to hatch, should i try to break another egg ? how can i know chicks are inside? Wil the lonely chick survive as her mother is all te time in nest because of the eggs and he might be hungry ?

My hen was sitting on 12 eggs for the last 24 days, nothing happened still? what could be the reason?, rooster is healthy and i believe eggs should be fertilized, should i break the egges before throwing them to confirm any chicke inside? any advise for next time? What is candeling i have heard of it and tried to see in one of the eggs through candeling yesterday but found moving liquid inside, another one was black complete inside. any clue?

if i have only hens but no roosters, definitely the eggs will not be fertilized, in this case will the hens sit on the eggs they laid ?

I had three mail ducks and a small pond, i bought a female duck already pregnant and about to laid fertilized eggs, she laid 14 eggs and sat on them after the incubation period only 3 came out , she used to sit on the rest of the eggs until a week or so, Nothing happened. Surprisingly one by one somebody killed the chicks, i found one chick under duck near the unhatched eggs. the female duck was also not taking care of the babies and was ignoring them. The ebahavour of male ducks were also same. Who killed the chicks can mother do this to thier chicks ?

the other hen is keep visiting my broody hen and laying eggs beneath her and she keep sitting on them as well...... what should i do ... in this case i believe hen will keep on sitting and hatching for one more month as more egges fro other hen keep on adding into nest.... should i remove the rest of the eggs after some hatched on 21st day... also my hen is not eating any thing shoud i put some water near her and food. Will my rooster attack and kill the chicks ?

If i start eating olives 2 -3 daily what benefit it will give to me ... or i will become fat .... iam not reducing my diet neither replacing it with olives but just want to eat additional olives ?

I have an acquarium 1 month old, i have purcahsed 4 guppies , 3 of which died in first 3 days, only one left which wasa female and gave birth to fries, tehn i separated the fries and now they are 1 month old , i just shifted them back into the acquarium with their mother and the mother is not eating them, suprizingly i have Algae growing in my Acquirium , water is green, gravel is green and glass walls also becoming green, my question is is this algae good for fish or not ? is this some bad sign to have algae? i have seen fries eating the Algae should i let them do this? i will leave the acquarium for 4 days leave , ia want the fries to eat Algae in vacation period? will this help ?

I bought a baby parrot (Love Bird) two weeks back, we fed him bananas, apples and whole grain cereal, he was very active and growing day by day, i didn't checked his weight, droppings etc etc so i dont know he was sick or not but he was eating and responding well till yesterday morning, he suddenly stopped eating and died after 6 hours. Before we put him under lamp light in a cage and for last few days as to train him we started putting food inside his cage which he used o eat a little but we also hand fed him two times daily. What could be the reason for his death, when he was suck we tried giving him Panadol because we dont have any vet doc here, but he didnt survived, any idea about medicine in this condition, can human med be given to parrots ?

i have fifteen guppy fries(babies) in a jar with air pump ... i will go on leave for 4 days .. can they survive .. they are 1 month old.

Three days back i bought 4 Guppies and 2 Tiger barbs, i have 7 Gallon acquirium, because gravel was new water became cloudy, next day all fish lose interest and all came on top surface ( i thought there is a lack of oxygen so i put an airpupm inside and also change half of water), they were quite active after that , i noticed barbs attacking guppies and killed one of them so i get rid of the barbs and had 3 guppies left , meanwhile one of them gave birth to 7 fries and separated then in another container and put an air pumop there also. One by one guppies are dying only one is remaining (somehow they lost control of swimming and until some hours they just float in water alive upside down sideways and then died) i put antichlorine yesterday for the first time, now only one fish is alive, but all fries and active and alive, what is the reason, what should i do ? the one reamaining is mostly spending its time on top surface , not onterested in much swimming around ? what to do ?

I have planted following seeds 22 days back, in a potting soil, they are not in direct sunlight, iam watering them when the get dried, but their growth is very slow, please advise:

1. Petunia, anterhunium, marigold, carnation, gazania........ they all have only two initial leaves "cotyledons" foor the last 10 days or so. Some of them started getiing die.

2. Salvia, Nastursium and Cenenaria are doing fine.

3. Pansy and Gerbera never sprouted.

What to do ?
