I'm writing a play about a group of people putting on a play. I've given it a lot of thought, and I would really like the play-with-a-play to be the...ahem...*Scottish Play.*

I'm not superstitious, but I know a lot of theatre people who are. I have an actor friend who insists that no one will touch this - that there would be enough superstitious actors/techies that it would be automatically rejected. What do you think? I know I'm a long way off from actually shopping the play around, but since the dream is to eventually put the play on, I also don't want to commit to a version that would be rejected out of hand.

I have a gold card, and so I should be able to get free coffee and tea refills at "participating stores." The problem, however, is that not one of the stores that I've been to has admitted to being a participating store. I still can get stars for my drinks, but I can't get any of the rewards that those stars are supposed to provide. Is there any website or something that gives a list of the participating stores in your area?

I'm on Nutrisystem, and I got an email saying that, if I wanted to change my order, I'd have to do it by such and such a date. When I click on the link, it just takes me to my account, and it doesn't give any options to change the food. I've searched through the website, and I can't find anything. Also, on a similar note, whenever I click the link to log my weight or exercise, I just get taken to the sales page and asked to purchase a program, but I've had a program for a couple months now. Am I missing something, or is there a problem with the website (either under my account or generally)? I tried contacting customer service a couple of times, but I just get an automated message that they've been receiving a "high volume" of customer calls/emails and to try back later. This is the first time that I've tried to customize my order. Any ideas?

The app is under the iPhone games list, but I was wondering if it works on the iPad, or if there is an iPad version that I'm not seeing. I know that you can run iPhone apps on the iPad, but I'm not going to spend the money if the resolution would be blurry.

I'd like to buy an app creating book for my father, but I really know nothing about it. He has a strong background in computers and programming, so I think that he would be fine with an intermediary level book, maybe even something a little higher. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Also (and this may be a stupid question), do you need one of these devices to write a program for one? My dad wants to get an iPad, but doesn't have one yet. So would he be able to use his MacBook Pro to write a program? In other words, would it be pointless to buy him a how-to book before he buys the iPad?

I saw a commercial for an episode of Toddlers in Tiaras with one of the girls doing a Lady Gaga dance. Does anyone know what song it is? It sounds vaguely familiar, but I can't find it online, and it's driving me crazy. Here's the only part of the lyrics I remember:

"Give me what I want, give me everything I ask for"

I know it's not much to go off of, but if anyone knows it by chance, that would be great.

Is there a way to only sync some of your itunes content to your ipad? I have some songs and shows that I want on itunes and my ipod, but I don't want to transfer over to my ipad. Is there a way to do that without manually checking and unchecking songs every time I want to sync a different device?

I have a macbook, using OSX 10.5.8. I tried to download a game demo, and a pop up told me that I need admin access to download a game. I am the only user on this computer, and I am an admin (I re-checked, and it says "admin" underneath my account name). I have never had a problem downloading games before, and I don't know why this is suddenly happening. I know that some people lost their access when they upgraded to Leopard, but I've had Leopard for over a year, and this has never happened before. Why do I get this message, and how can I fix it?

P.S.

Could it have anything to do with the fact that I recently moved/have a different internet connection?

I have a MacBook (with Leopard, if that matters), and every day at around 7:00 p.m., it crows like a rooster. It doesn't affect my computer in any way; I'm just curious as to what would be causing the noise. Does anyone know?
