Hi! so this is the summer before my freshman year at college. i applied for a job, and they JUST told me that i did not get it, and at this point it's too late to look for a job for the last 7 weeks of summer. most of my friends are gone for the summer visiting family in china, India, etc. both my parents work full time and my brother moved out. i don't have a pool pass.

WHAT DO I DO THIS SUMMER?! i will be so bored! i have some money from graduation, but not enough to do a big trip or anything.

I wanted to wear my prom shoes to school tomorrow to make sure i can walk in them for an extended period of time.

I'm 18, by the way, senior in high school. they're like 4 inch pumps. i was gonna dress them down with skinny jeans or something so I'm not too out there.

do you think this would be okay?

this perfectly describe my situation right now, but I'm not sure if its a little too sad to post lol.

I want to dye my brown hair to a medium blonde. I've done a lot of research and it looks like the best way to do this is bleach it to a light blonde and then use a medium blonde box over it.

can I do this all in the same day? or would it have to be bleach it one day and the wait a few days to put the medium blonde over it?

So my mom was telling me gow she wishes her and my dad went out more, so my brother and i wanted to get them kinda a date night thing for christmas, like a dinner and movie tickets? but we wanted something a bit more original.... i've been sick since last friday, i missed school friday and monday and just laid at home all weekend.

i'm still feeling awful today; can't stop coughing, low grade fever, stuffy nose, etc.

my mom doesn't want me to stay home because i've already missed two days, but i feel so awful i can't do school today. any things i can say to get her to take me to a doctor or let me stay home?

am i having trouble breathing?

i'm sick with a cold, i have a ridiculous cough and stuffy nose. i think i'm starting to have a little trouble breathing, but i might be just imagining it since i'm coughing so much??

i should probably go to the doctor if i'm having trouble breathing but i dont know if i actually am or not.

About 2 months ago, I bleached the ends of my dark brown hair (they turned dark blonde) and them dyed them hot pink with Splat hair dye. It's starting to fade a bit.

I was wondering if I bleach the ends, will they just go back to blonde, or will the pink not come out? If it gets totally screwy I can just cut the ends off, but I would really like blonde ends :)

Hi! A couple weeks ago I dip dyed the ends of my hair bright pink by bleaching them to a dark blond and then using Splat pink hair dye. Before homecoming, so in about a month and a half, i want to bleach the ends so it's my dark brown hair with pale blond ends :)

in a month and a half the pink dye should be mostly faded, but will the bleach work on light pinkish/dark blonde ends?

Also what is the best brand of hair bleach that i can buy at drugstores?

I've been taking french since 7th grade, so i've taken 5 years of it. I'm supposed to be taking AP french this year, but my teacher is crazy and unfair and the class is so stressful. so i want to drop it and take AP bio. i want to be an engineer, and i am applying to some ivy league schools. my mom doesnt want me to drop it because she thinks that it will look bad to colleges to have not taken a language my senior year.

hi! normally i just shampoo and condition my hair, but i just bought a leave in conditioner and an anti frizz shine serum that are both to be applied to wet hair. which should i use first?

Hi! So I'm 17. Normally for makeup I wear mascara, powder, a little bit of blush, and a skin toned shimmery eyeshadow. Sometimes I wear some eyeliner too.

Mascara is like my makeup staple. However, I just got glasses and if I wear mascara it my lashes are so long they hit the lenses when I blink so I cant really wear mascara anymore :(

So-- makeup looks that are cute, WITHOUT mascara??
