I have always liked the sound of Portugeuse(Brazilian Portuguese,that is!).I having trouble finding any good learning language packs.I found a few good ones but they are all European Portuguese.So,should I go ahead and learn European Portuguese?I mean is there even that much of a difference?(the difference between the two particularly interests me.if you know about it,please expound!)or will it hurt my language study later on if my foundation is european and not brazilian?plus if you have any good links,please share(the freer,the better!).Thanks in advance!

I recently came across a post where a lady said she has lived her entire life in Ukraine and doesn't know a word of Ukrainian(she's from Odessa,which I take is a very Russian city...ironic considering its not in E.Ukraine)anyway is there anyone with more knowledge on this.I would imagine it would be necessary for some things courts,business,getting around,education etc.thanks in advance!

Several theories exist as to an alternate history where the axis powers are victorious.Germany at one point during the war controled much of Europe(and many say they would have won if hitler hadn't been over ambitious as to fight a war on two fronts!)though I highly doubt The Germans could've reached mainland U.S!but what are your views?Thanks in advance

Assuming the Islamic state achieves its goals(only assuming) and the western world eventually ceases fire and ISIS overuns the governments of Iraq and Syria and forms its own 'Islamic state'.then what!?will any country establish any diplomatic relations with this supposed Islamic state,will it carry out trade or even be allowed to join the united nations?

Am sorry the question wasn't clear I never knew how to phrase it properly.So I was wondering,why do people for example say Hitler killed people(note this is just an example in place of all other hated world leaders)so this gets me wondering because literally this person did not actually kill those people.some people may argue that he/she ordered the killing of those people.but those people who actually killed say soldiers were in control of there own actions so why blame one persons actions on another person now back to my example none of the individual soldiers were tried for the war crimes only generals who may have not killed anyone.am not supporting their actions but I like to know why people say it like that or why it is a part of speech i.e why people say person A killed so many people instead of person A ordered or led an army which killed so many people.thanks alot in advance!

recently I logged in and I was down 40 points this was really annoying especially for a person like me who had just leveled up so it took me back to level 2.the important part is I want to know why I was reported 4 times doesn't that seem like to much?because all the questions were I had been reported where similar i.e I had been giving advice on how to download free music legally!what I really want to know is if it's possible for me to know why I was reported is their a way in which I can get to the reason that the person reporting me gave and so on and which part part of the community guidelines I violated is there a way I can get this information.thanks in advance!

I don't really live in the U.S but I watch a lot of american t.v and they are always talking about cable so what I really wanted to know is how does it work,how many channels do you get on cable tv/network? and what are the maximum number of television channels you can get?there types(no.of movie channels entertainment channels sport channels,news,lifestyle,foreign etc.)the price of the bouquets/packages and so on,the more info you can give me the better I would really appreciate it plus where I live we have Satellite t.v which is awesome 'cause we get loads of cool channels 200+so I wanted to know which one is better.thanks!

100+?+_+?+_=2098.he worked it out in no time,from what i understand he got the answer from the first no. he put down(100) by subtracting 2 from 100 to get 098 ( _098) and then using the 2 as well in the answer to give the answer as 2098.he then asked me to give him 2 random no.s indicated by(?)'s and the filled in the other 2 gaps very first,i still wonder how he did it.does anyone know how?
