I m moving to NYC May 23rd?
This may seem random as hell but I love seasons and spring and I m originally from Chicago (I now live further south than the deep south let s put it that way). So I was wondering will spring still be in the air/flowers/trees blooming or even somewhat recently budded?
I d really love to experience a tiny bit of spring this coming spring, haha.

1 AnswerMental Health4 years agoMiami vs Orlando vs St. Pete/Tampa area?
Hello. I am originally from the Chicago area, and I moved to the Tampa Bay area (a not that developed part of it), Bradenton to be exact, for medical school. Soon enough I'm going to have the option to potentially go to one of these metro areas in Florida for medical rotations. I was wondering what everyone's opinion on these cities were.
Things that are important to me (if I even have any time during rotations):
Great choral groups (I've always done pro or very high-caliber choral singing in college and currently).
Great cultural amenities overall (art museums, entertainment, good symphony, other live music, festivals).
The Ocean (All 3 have at least some easy access to the ocean).
Urban feel.
Cultured-ish people. And young people.
Thanks!

3 AnswersOrlando4 years agoWhen gas molecules don't dissolve in blood but are still in blood, do they just stay in the gas state in the blood?
Like for CO2 for instance, I know it's kind of soluble in the blood but not that soluble. So are the molecules that don't dissolve just in the gas state?
1 AnswerChemistry4 years agoHow is Cleveland for young people who appreciate culture and the arts?
I'm 22 years-old and in med school. I have the option to move to the Cleveland area from Florida for medical rotations.
I'm from the Chicago area, so cold weather isn't a huge draw-back, but how is the weather there?
Also, how is the classical music scene there? Food? Art?
Do people go to the beach?
Thanks.

7 AnswersPoland5 years agoDoes most of Germany have *milder* winters than, say, Chicago?
I m *tentatively* planning on going to Germany, specifically Berlin and Munich, during the "off-season" of January right after I graduate from college. I know that I will need to dress warm but I don t want it to be so cold that I can t go outside like it often is in Chicago. To my surprise, many have told me than Germany is FREEZING in the winter. So, is it more likely that I ll be able to go outside without wearing 100, or more likely that it will be *relatively* comfortable compared to Chicago? From what I ve seen it looks like highs are close to 40 most of the time during these months. How is the weather, really?
3 AnswersWeather6 years agoCan I NOT volunteer in a hospital and get into med school?
I volunteer with Habitat, AMSA, and with a pre-med group that goes on mission trips. I hate volunteering at the hospital because we're not allowed to really do anything. Should I keep it up or would it be okay to just stop? Thanks.

I know urban areas are actually not quite short anymore with regard to number of doctors. Will it soon be the case the doctors will have to live in rural areas? Thanks.
1 AnswerHealth Care8 years agoRiverside vs. La Grange vs. Oak Park vs. Clarendon Hills?
Best suburb for a young gay couple hoping to raise one only child? Prefer to be somewhat close to downtown Chicago for going out but will work in Naperville/Aurora area. Looking for a somewhat urban feel mixed with suburban. Cool/nice/accepting people who are fun and will come to house parties/get together. Trying to find a happy medium between the far west suburbs and downtown Chicago.
3 AnswersChicago8 years agoI get cysts on my neck and nowhere else on my body.?
The look like they could be swollen lymph nodes, except for how red they get. And, sometimes putting toothpaste on them kind of "draws them out," as if they were regular pimples/cysts. However, it takes a while for them to draw out completely, which leads me to think that they're swollen lymph nodes and I'm just psyching myself out by believing that they're getting "drawn out." They are red, large bumps with make a pretty big stamp on my neck, approximately the size of a lymph node, most likely. What could they be caused by? I'm going to see a doctor tomorrow. I've been getting them in the same general region of my body for almost 3 years.
1 AnswerSkin Conditions8 years agoHow cheap could we make this Italy trip per person?
I'm hoping to go to Italy with 1-2 friends in early January 2016. We plan to go from the 2nd to the 10th. 9 days and 8 nights in total. We will spend the nights of the 2nd-5th in Rome and the 6th-9th in Florence. We will go as cheap as possible. I'd like to keep it under $2,500 per person.

1 AnswerOther - Italy8 years agoThe day after my glycolic acid peel, my acne scars are even MORE red.?
So far, all I've noticed is that my acne scars and discolored areas are just more red and pronounced. Will this fade or could I have permanently damaged my skin? I used a 35% peel. It tingled and burned quite mildly. I've heard you're not supposed to get to the point of it burning. Now my skin is just more red in the problem spots. I'm very concerned.
