Meet Jude, our shelter, heinz 57, mutt that we love very much! The shelter said she was an Australian shepherd, I think she's a corgi husky mix, and my husband thinks she's german shepherd husky... she's 8 months old now so I don't think shell get too much bigger (if at all) We are just curious... nothing could make us love her less so no guilt trips on "why do you even care what breed she is..." please! We are just simply wondering what y'all think she looks like!

Some friends from work and I are doing a 5K in September and we need a team name. We are all vet techs and would like that incorporated in our name. So far I only have: We like big mutts, the critter fixers, and dead on arrival... not a huge fan of any of them... the funnier the better!

A group of co-workers and I are getting together to make a team for the Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge race in Austin, Texas. We need a clever team name and hoping to tie it to our occupation- Veterinary Technicians... we want something funny and related to animals/our job. Anything helps!!

Yesterday I was in a merging lane when I looked over to merge, the driver in front of me made a sudden negligent stop when he still had the merging lane infront of him. When I looked back over I saw him stopped and swerved to miss him, I hit his passenger end bumper with my drivers side bumper. I did have assured clear distance ahead of me, but due to his sudden stop while we were attempting to merge I still hit the edge of his passenger side bumper. Would he be at fault for making an unexpected stop in a merging lane in which he still had room to go forward?

This headband was worn by Serena in a Gossip Girl episode (white party) I love this headband and have looked everywhere (online) for it but can't find anything. I would love to have this for my wedding or even just something similar to it... thanks!

My fiancé and I are getting married in a little less than a year, my side of the family has already discussed finances and figured out who's paying for what. We plan on paying for the majority of the wedding but would like some help from his side of the family. What is a good way to ask if he is going to contribute? My fiancé hates asking his dad for anything so this is basically in my hands now and I just need an appropriate way of wording things. From what I've seen, the grooms family usually pays for the honeymoon, rehearsal dinner, and alcohol... but we already plan on getting the alcohol... sooo how do ask? Thanks!

Her name was Tiessa or Tessa pronounced (tee-sa)

It was a beaded fit and flare tulle dress with the tulle on the top rim of the neck line then beaded that cascades down to the waist

I've looked everywhere, and everything I have found has been for flooring. Can I paint these tiles (I'm assuming they're quarry tiles... orangey tiles, they say made in Mexico on the bottom?) Does it matter what kind of paint I use on these considering they're on a coffee table... not a floor?

I'm not sure how long its been there, I was out of town away from her for about a week and a half and just noticed it when I got back. It looks like a blister but isn't squishy, its hard to the touch and in-between her front toes. She has a vet appointment but I have to wait a week since the vet I always go to is booked. I just need to know if I should take her to an emergency clinic or just somewhere I haven't been sooner. What could this be?

I know its a mix, and yes... probably a mutt but were just curious as to what he is. The shelter said he's a king charles mix and my mom thinks he's part boxer as well... but I'm not too sure about that one

I'm getting married in 13 months and need to lose weight. I have a gym membership, but I need some sort of diet guide... I've looked online and all the information is just overwhelming. I want to lose at least 30 pounds but considering I'm a student... I don't really have the budget for a personal trainer or a complete organic diet. My fiance is about the size of a toothpick and can eat whatever he wants which makes it even harder to stay motivated on a diet. I need something simple and affordable. Some suggestions of diet books or inexpensive diet programs would be great, please help!!

I want these shoes but can only find them on the Journey's website for $60, I'm not really wanting to spend that much on them so if anyone knows where I can get them for pretty cheap let me know! I've also already checked the Chuck Taylor website and no luck :/

So I was looking them both over and can't decide... I need something to keep me on track and motivate me I'm pretty sure just having a gadget like one of these will help, I tried the iPod app with tracking my food and calories but my gym doesn't have wifi so it wasn't long lived. I think having something like a watch or arm band that I can sync later would be great... I don't like that you have to pay a membership fee for the bodybugg website but I haven't really heard much about the fitbit... is there anything else good out there? Any suggestions are welcome!!

I love this ring, the height of the setting, the colors, everything... except the 6 small stones in the center. Honestly, it doesn't bother be, but my fiance thinks it looks cheap. So I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can find a ring like this one but with a princess cut diamond in the middle instead of the smaller diamonds.

I know I can custom make one, but I figured I'd try looking for one before I went through the hassle.

Its a great vet clinic in Denver, CO I took my dog there last time and they were wonderful. But, the first exam was free so I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford it if its extremely high :/

I work at a small dog day care and theres only 4 employees including the 2 owners, me, and one other worker. Normally I only work 5 or 6 hours and I'm fine without a break but the past 3 days I've worked 12 hour days with no break. Is this even legal? I realize I work at a dog day care and I do have time to sit down and eat but the fact that I cant clock out and leave just doesn't seem right?
