On the Passover Seder plate there is a spot for bitter herbs and another for horseradish. Even as a little girl I never understood why. I thought horseradish IS the bitter herb, so I never understood why we have spots for both. Can someone please explain?

Is there any way u can be Michael Jordan in NBA Create A Legend mode in NBA 2k12 game? if so how?

I've been playing NBA 2k11 on ps3 since it came out, so you can imagine how far i got. I've saved it mid-game numerous times, but maybe last time it gliched last time? Because now my game won't load, I hope i havent lost all that. I tell it to load, it says Loading, then goes black. I've unplugged/replugged it, I've reinserted the disc several times, nothing. Any ideas?

We have 2 descented, fixed female ferrets. I clean the cage with soap & water routinely, I clean the litter pan rather often, I do NOT bathe the girls but few & far between since I know that excess bathing can increase their oils thus smell...I have tried the Marshall's bi-odor stuff, doesn't work.

All that said, I finally had to move my girls to the basement because (1) I just couldn't take the smell anymore, (2) our company has stopped coming over because they can't take the smell either. Is there anything that works?

I have a '96 Caravan. Just put almost $1k in it, between radiator, struts, brakes, valve covers, other things as well that i can't remember. I've had it back for 2wks.

Yesterday I was on the freeway on cruise control. The best way I can describe it is, it "skipped." Twice. Kept going just fine, but it was like a hiccup or something. (Sorry I'm not very mechanical...)

On the way home from work last night I started braking for a stop light, & it just died!! I put it in Park & restarted it, & it started up just fine.

Same thing tonight on my way home from work. I put the brakes on for the truck in front of me that was turning, & again it just died!! Once again, I put it in park, & it restarted just fine.

Any ideas as to what's going on?? and about how much $$ I'm looking at?

For years Mom has been having chest pains, chronic weakness & fatigue, & high blood pressure (she's stubborn, & has refused medical care...GRRRRRRR). Today these symptoms skyrocketed, & had no choice but to let Dad take her to the ER. The EKG came back normal, other tests have come back normal. They're keeping her overnight for further testing & observation, but anyone have any ideas what it could be, if it's not her heart?

I have an idea for a product that I think may sell well, inspired by something that happened to me a year ago. Thing is, I don't know the first thing about making it a reality. Copyrighting? Marketing? What do I need to do & how do I do it?

I'm 13 wks preg tomorrow, a bit overweight, so my OB told me to walk & swim. Tday was so beautiful outside, so my hubby & I took some nature trails, easy walking...about 4 miles. During our walk I felt a gush...sure enough, I was bleeding. Up to this point I've had no problems...after losing one in February, we've been so happy that our OB gave such a clean bill of health. We immediately went home, & I saw a couple small clots & lots of blood in the toilet. I called the emergency # to my doctor, & the doc on call returned my call. She said to get off my feet, keep my feet up, keep an eye on the bleeding & see if it starts to lighten up. Said that I possibly cudda overdone it with all that walking. I'm having NO cramping, the bleeding IS lightening up significantly. I'm just really seeking encouragement, because we want this baby more than anything.

*Has any1 else gone thru this, & had a successful pregnancy?

*I just rented a heartbeat doppler, & heard strong heartbeat yesterday- shud i try it again today?

We bought our first house, & we're so happy with how nice it is! Thing is, all 3 bathrooms smell like urine. I have scrubbed & scrubbed from top to bottom, using bleach, Lysol, other disinfectants, etc., & that smell is still there! How do I get it out?

2 years ago I sent to school & Sallie Mae was the only lender. After graduating I was only able to find one job working 8 hours per week. I tried to work out monthly payment arrangements with them, but it wasn't enough for them so they sent me to collections. The collections company called & demanded the whole $8,000. Naturally I didn't have it. They even researched me, found out I'm married, checked my husband's credit without our authorization, & saw that he has enough credit to put the $8k on his credit cards. We can't afford a higher credit card payment, so of course I said no. So they told me I would be going to court.

They called back saying they would settle the $8k debt for half, which is $4k, and to avoid court, I had one hour to call back with arrangements to pay that day. Frantic I called my parents, & they took the money out of their equity, & that $4k was paid that day. The collections agency then faxed back a letter saying that the $8k amount was settled for $4k, and the BALANCE IS ZERO.

That was like 3 months ago, & I thought Sallie Mae & that collections agency was history. This morning I got a call from Sallie Mae saying I still owe that other $4k. WHAT?!?!

I still have that letter from the collections company saying the debt was settled & the balance is zero. Can Sallie Mae still make me pay the other $4k???
