How do I get that smell out?
We bought our first house, & we're so happy with how nice it is! Thing is, all 3 bathrooms smell like urine. I have scrubbed & scrubbed from top to bottom, using bleach, Lysol, other disinfectants, etc., & that smell is still there! How do I get it out?

Well the answer from TCM is pretty good, if your bathroom is covered in carpet, which is gross to think of it. Tiles in a bathroom, not a carpet!
Maybe the urine smell then comes from the pipes of your toilet, which might need a good cleaning. Or your standing water in that toilet, in the drain, is too old and contaminated and hasnt been completely flushed away.
A good way to get rid of that smell on sinks is by just unscrewing the pipe underneath and clean it properly. On sinks it works very well and its much easier!
On toilets its a bit more complicated!
I used to suck away all that water from the toilet till its completely dry.
Then I removed the toilet from that hole, which is the drain and manually cleaned out all the muck that has gathered all the years. And by that chance I even could clean the toilet itself properly from top to bottom.
But you can just buy a new toilet!
Then I just fitted the toilet back in position and flushed the line several times!
I was so proud to see all that clear water then...till my first use....hrmmmpfff.
But at least it smelled fresh and like me now!
I know thats a hard job...but it works for me...without much to pay for any special products that might work or not!

It's not the best answer, but it's the only one that worked for me. I had the same problem. I ended up replacing the carpet in all the rooms that smelled like urine. I tried a Rug Doctor and the urine spray that they sell. They didn't do s***. Even tried a professional cleaner. It smelled the same after they had left. Best thing to do is get new carpet.
