  • NHL play-by-play announcers - how well do you listen?

I am thinking of one word. It is the most frequently-used word by NHL play-by-play announcers during a game.

I will admit that I have no official stats to back me up. It comes from over 40 years of listening to hockey games. Nothing has changed. It's the same today as it was back then.

It is nearly impossible to listen to an NHL announcer - any announcer - for more than 30 seconds without hearing him say this word at least one time. What is the word?

  • Retail employees: What's the strangest thing you've seen returned?

While waiting in store lines, I've seen customers try to return some pretty bizarre items. Among them are a half-eaten coffee cake (wrong flavor), a dead parakeet, and an already-cooked pot roast (too tough). Takes guts, that's for sure. I'm sure everyone who has worked in a store has seen their share of it. What's the most unbelievable thing you've seen a customer trying to return for a refund?

  • Can you be the first to answer this correctly?

Air Force One, the aircraft carrying the President of the United States, does not have an equal number of takeoffs and landings. The takeoffs exceed the landings by one.

This statement is true only when Air Force One is on the ground.

    Explain how this is possible.
