NHL play-by-play announcers - how well do you listen?

I am thinking of one word. It is the most frequently-used word by NHL play-by-play announcers during a game.

I will admit that I have no official stats to back me up. It comes from over 40 years of listening to hockey games. Nothing has changed. It's the same today as it was back then.

It is nearly impossible to listen to an NHL announcer - any announcer - for more than 30 seconds without hearing him say this word at least one time. What is the word?

Update:

"The" is the best guess so far, and it's very close - probably the second-most commonly-used word.

I listen a lot, but I definitely don't have 40 years of listening... more like about 8 years... so... I'm going to say the word "TO"

    "Puck" is a good guess.

    How about "Ice"?

This is a good question, I wish I had a hockey game to watch right now.
