I always run into people that are so passionate about it and when I run into them a few months later...it is old news. I'm curious how many of you have stuck with it over a year?

I recently bought some modern furniture for my apartment and am seeking to buy some accent pieces, artwork, vases, throw pillows etc. What are some good stores to shop at? Nothing too extravagant..I was thinking of starting at Pier one and pottery barn. Online shopping won't work, since I kind of want to see the actual pieces.

I am planning on a Machu Picchu trip and perhaps even trying to do the Mt. Whitney hike towards the end of this summer. To that end, are there any local DFW trails which will be even remotely useful to train on a weekly basis?

I am in decent shape and have done some moderate difficulty hikes like to upper falls in Yosemite, some of the peaks in the continental divide, up and down GC and a few in Yellowstone.

Obviously hypothetical. Would you sacrifice your place in heaven for someone you care for immensely, knowing they are destined for and deserving to go to hell?

Hi everyone! I am thinking about wearing a light pink dress shirt, paired with a dark gray sports jacket and dark gray / blue jeans. It looks pretty good in the mirror...I am just not sure if I should wear a black jacket, or lighter gray jacket instead? What do you think?

How come the smoke from cigarettes do not set off the smoke detectors in smoking rooms in hotels?
