  • Should I make a Christmas List?

This June for my sons birthday he received so many toys we had no idea what to do with them.

My FIL called during my sons party and asked what he should get my son (who was already a walking pro) for his birthday and I told him some heavy duty kick-balls for outside because he loves playing outside and the thin ones get popped by our Beagle. Sippy Cups with Straws and clothes.

My FIL was at the store at that very moment and tried to tell me everything he was looking at.

He bought a Ball Popper (you know the ones you get for kids learning to walk), a bag of 100 ball pit balls (no ball pit) and paccis (which we had told him we were taking away from my son). My son never touched the Ball popper.

So I had the idea to make an online Christmas list of what my son needs for Christmas with pictures. I was going to make it kind of like Dear Santa...Love Ethan. Like Non Fitted toddler sheets, underware, etc. Not very many toys at all.

(For Christmas last year we told him please no big indoor toys because we didn't have room at the time..and he got him a huge indoor play gym that took up half his play space)

Do you think I should do this or is it tacky?

  • Not sure what to think?

My son is 16 months old and my husband and I are thinking about getting my Mirena pulled out next month and start trying to conceive #2 from January on. We want our kids to be close in age, but not so close that we go nuts.

Well my aunt had asked me when my son was going to get a little sister, so I told her the plan..she was really excited. BUT my grandmother who was also in the room gave me the most disgusting look that I have ever seen and asked if that was such a good idea.

I have had PPD that never really went away, but I am on meds for that.

It just really bothers me that she would say something like that...I am just making a big deal out of nothing?

  • Would you be offended if...?

Would you be offended if a family member told you not to cut your kids hair a certain way because they claim it makes them look like a 'retard'?

This happened to me this morning because I just my sons hair short, like I always do. I got very angry and was told I was over reacting. I thought it was offensive.

  • Somewhat of a friend...Kind of long.?

A girl I have known since were were 5 recently had her 3rd child (shes 23). When I went to visit her and her new baby in the hospital she stated that she would be over to my house on Tuesday so that I could help her take care of her three kids because she didn't know if she could handle them all.

I just smiled and didn't say anything because all of her family was just staring at me.

Im not sure how to tell her NO. I am going to school, taking care of my own child, and taking care of my grandmother who is going to have surgery Monday. My husband is angry I didn't say anything to her already.

She has already whinnied to me that they have no money and wants me to buy her kid diapers and her cigs. She couldn't afford the first two and claimed she HAD to have a boy because she didn't want anymore kids after that (the other two are girls).

I am tempted just to stop talking to her...would that be rude?

  • When is the right time to pierce your daughters ears?

My husband and I are debating this and I just wanted to see other peoples views. We don't even have a daughter, but are hoping for one soon.

  • How far apart should you space your children?

What are the pros and cons of the ages of your children? My husband and I are TTC our second early next year and I just wanted to see what everyone else has gone through.

  • How Should I Introduce Juice to my 6 Month old?

My son has to have surgery 3 days before Xmas and they told us that he couldnt have formula for a whole day before it, but he could have juice, gatorade, and pedialite. I would like to get him used to drinking it before that day...so how should I introduce it? I only plan on giving him four onces a day until the day of his surgery. Any ideas? Should I dilute it?

  • Tips for Drying up Breast Milk.?

I cannot Nurse my child due to the heart medication I have been put on since he was born. Are there any tips that can help make it dry up faster to relieve the pain I am feeling? It hurts all the way into my arm pits and I can barely lift him due to that and the painful c-section that I had to have recently.

  • I'm 26 weeks pregnant, have been having lower LEFT side pain for a Week+. It hurts when I walk, is it Normal?

It mostly happens when I walk, cough, or stretch. Also it hurts to add slight pressure on the area. I don't go back to my OB until the 21st, should I try to get in sooner or is this normal in pregancy? ((This is my first))
