I am looking at a piece of moderately remote property. The county road is less than 1000 feet away. The seller, who doesn't have much info, is unsure but "believes" there is an easement.
If I pay for a title company to research and insure, would this include this info? If the owner is financing himself should I get title insurance anyway?
Is there a way to research the title myself?
