  • Is this a legal handicap sign?

A week ago a handicap sign appeared in front of one of the spots in my apartment complex. The parking space itself is not marked with any blue or white paint and the signs itself isn't in the space itself its across the sidewalk, up a hill, in a bush. It's nearly impossible to see at night. All the rest of the handicap spaces in the complex are marked with the wheelchair in paint, but don't have signs. Which is right?

  • How do doctors treat small, severe burns?

I m writing a story and one of the characters get s severe, but small, burns on parts of their first two fingers. Bad enough that the burns are black. I ve looked all over and the only thing I can find online that talks about treating third degree burns is essentially get the person to a hospital. Watch out for shock . But what is actually done at the hospital, by the doctors? The doctor is the other character, this is their introduction, so I m trying to get some accuracy for it.

  • What do I need to show my landlord for them to agree to my dog?

My mom is giving me one of her dogs. I spoke to my landlord and they said that when I get an animal they will come with the information they need to put down on the new pet lease, thinking I was adopting from a shelter or buying from a breeder. They ended the call before I could correct them, and they have been busy these last few days.

The dog is a cavalier pekinese, he s not on the list of restricted animals and I have the money for his deposit ready and waiting.

What information is usually asked of tenants and their animals? I will of course ask my landlord when I get in contact with them again, but I want to have a basic idea

  • What are the chances of dying from eating raw meat?

I don't mean 'there's some blood around the chicken bone', I mean meat that had never touched a heat source. Specifically poultry.

Say, you are lost at sea and manage to catch a sea gull or whatever. And you can't cook it, or you'd burn the little boat you're in. What are the chances of dying/getting severely sick from eating a very raw wild bird.

  • What are things a bully has said to you?

In one of my stories I'm writing about a girl who was a vicious bully when she was younger. I already have her motivation(she's likes to see how people react to things and see if she can manipulate them into doing what she wants) and what changes her into a (mildly) better person, my problem is I have a tough time with dialogue. When I was bullied it was mostly physically so I don't have a lot of verbal experience. What are some direct quotes from a bully?

  • What colors go well with purple?

My little sister just dyed her hair this really light purple and with our birthday coming up I wanted to get her some new clothes to go with it. I was thinking of scarves, or bows for her hair, but I'm not good with color coordination so I was wondering what would look good with her new hair?

  • Why do people think that adoption negates abortion?

I have heard time and time again in face of arguments against abortion that, and I quote, "adoption is always an option.". Who is spreading these lies and why do so many people believe them? Do they just not know anything about the foster system?

  • Hoe do you keep a baby quiet?

In a story I m writing this group of soldiers from the king has been tasked with killing everyone in the town suspected of harboring rebels, but they decide to secretly smuggle out all of the kids too young to really understand what s happening, about 6 and bellow. This includes a bunch of infants. I was wondering if there s any way they could keep the baby s quiet? I know the movie troupe of the baby crying and almost giving them away, but it there something around that?

Would a pacifier work, or is there some thing they could stick in water to knock them out temporarily? I know that's not exactly ethical, but I don't know anything about kids so I don't know what else could be done.

  • Could you fit a King Charles in a purse?

I see pictures and people all the time going around with little dogs in purses, and I was wondering if anyone s done it with a King Charles Spaniel? Mine is a mix, who will absolutely not fit due to her larger size, but I m curious about pure bred, regular sized ones.

  • Besides moral and religious belief's, why is abortion a bad thing?

Banning the part where people jump in with 'it's a human life' or 'god will hate you' is there a reason not to get an abortion? Like how people say that vaccine's give people autism, or that democrats are bad for the economy.

  • Can I train a dog to find holes in the ground for me?

Is there a way that I can train my dog to find a hole in the pasture for me, and let me know, without digging it bigger? We're getting a blind horse in soon and while I know there aren't any in her future enclosure now, I would like more than just my eyes to tell me if there's something out there.

  • Where can I get Kite Runner Audiobook free?

My sister needs to 'read' this Kite Runner for her school, but she has trouble reading reading. She says that she can listen to a book, but the library has it on CD and her schools computer doesn't have a disc player. She can't use mine, and our old walkman doesn't work well enough. Is there a website where I can get the book without paying for it? Itunes offers it for twenty dollars, but we can't pay for that, and youtube has come up with nothing.
