Hired as an exempt salaried employee. Then they moved me to a non-exempt (technically hourly) employee. If they decide to close the office due to bad weather, I don't get paid or I have to use PTO. This seems completely unfair to me! I mean, if they decide to close the office, why should I get penalized?

Ok, so this lady at work got me a Christmas gift. I am not really sure why but I guess that doesn't matter (and no, she does not have a crush on me, I am a girl). We aren't friends outside of work, but regardless, she got me something. She made it a point to let me know that she got me a gift... I am assuming this means that she wants me to get her one, too.

I really don't want to get her a gift but I feel obligated and I have NO CLUE what to get her. Don't really know her interests, not even enough to get her a gift card for dinner somewhere. She isn't a big "girlie-girl" either so clothes, shopping gift cards, or accessories are out. Does anyone have any ideas???? Thanks!

Buying a shaver/trimmer for my man. Needs it for regular every day shaving as well as neck, underarm, and "lower" trimming. Willing to spend up to $75. Any ideas?

How can I make it stop? I am not overweight or anything, I just want to prevent myself from getting that way which is going to be hard considering I am STARVING all the time and I can tell my metabolism has slowed down significantly in the past few years. Plus I put on like 15lbs. in two years. Oh lord help me!

I eat pretty healthy during the week and walk and do spinning class about 2 times per week each. But the weekend comes along and here comes the beer and pizza. I will probably have like 5 or 6 light beers on the weekend and eat whatever I want. Is this sabotaging all the work I do during the week? I am so tired of dieting and it not working!!!

I am straight, in a straight relationship and one of my best friends (male) is gay and has a lot of gay/lesbian friends. I seem to get along with all the guys just fine, but all the girls have this really negative attitude towards me and sometimes won't even bother to talk to me when I try to talk to them. WTF?

He is totally house broken... 4 years old. Brittany Spaniel. Not fixed. A lot of time when I leave him in the house for like 5 minutes he will pee on the corner of the couch or the corner of my bed. He doesn't do it when I am in there and as soon as I see it, he knows he is in trouble. Why the heck does he do that?!?!?! How can I make him stop?!?!?
