I have a debate with my Australian friend that living on the minimum wage in the UK is worse than Australia. As a single person with no dependants our minimum wage is £6.50 per hour gross which is $12.35. On a 40 hour week and with rent to pay can you tell me if you get your wage or/and rent topped up by the government if let's say you are only on a 16 hour week or don't make enough money for food and rent? I know cost of living is high in both countries..food more pricey but rent in general is cheaper in Oz. She says there are 4 bands in Oz for pay rates also. Can somebody enlighten me please.

I have just purchased and installed it but it's asking for a serial number and activation number. Got activation number but where do I find serial number as not in my email. Have tried to ring Corel for help but are constantly engaged and have checked out all the youtubes with them. Can anybody enlighten me please as got very frustrated with all this,,,then need to work out all the links associated with this in my email I am suppose to download. It's driving me up the wall. Hi I managed to pass this course last year and would like to carry on to more advanced levels for word processing and excel with Pitman on-line course. The problem is when I ring up different branches they all say different things. Has anybody carried on with more advanced courses with Pitman as these courses are expensive and so cannot afford to get this wrong. It's worrying that some of the advisers don't even know what my qualification it is let alone know what level comes next!! I would also like to know how many levels there are in both word and excel or any advise. Many thanks.
