  • The Bachelorette Jillian Any one else agree that she's got 2 (really 3 with Reid) great guys to choose from?

Jillian is getting exactly the answers she's looking for with Kiptyn-I think she's a fool if she doesn't choose him! There has been zero problems with him from the beginning.

  • Have you dealt with this Birthday situation?

So my son's 6th birthday is next week-we typically just do a family party, but since his cousins weren't coming we decided he could invite a couple friends-we're going to a playland place. Otherwise it would be just him and 4 adults besides me and my husband. So he chose 3-4 friends to invite.

Now my neighbor is upset with me because we didn't invite them? But it isn't really a kids party-sure we invited 3-4 kids-but it's not like we invited his class of friends etc. Plus for the past 2 years they really haven't gotten along fighting, hitting, saying mean things, etc. And he fights with other kids all the time too and We didn't want to deal with it.

Plus the whole gift situation...his birthday passed already and we didn't get him a gift-I didn't want them to feel obligated to buy a gift.

Now she's saying I'm mean for not inviting her son. I have no problems with them but what would you do or say in that situation? Have you been in this situation? How can things be so complicated with 6 year olds-I just wanted to have a fun day for my son and a couple friends?

  • Does anyone else feel....?

The bailouts need to end!! I mean why would Congress even think to give companies more money (GM, FORD)-for Bear stearns to go under after the Bail out is insane. I think as American's we should have voted on the Bailout Bill it's obviously not helped the economy and it's made many of us tax payers upset-I was appalled that both Presidential candidates wanted it...am I the only one?

I wrote to my local representatives about the bailout bill-if you'd like to as well go to LouDobbs.com I think that's where I got my states representatives names to tell them how horrible this bill is-I don't expect anyone to bail me out-if I get myself in trouble I have to figure something out!

  • Best Choice for Obama?

In contrast to Obama's collegial style and that of his top campaign advisers, Emanuel is known as a foul-mouthed practitioner of brass-knuckled politics who relishes both conflict and publicity. He once mailed a dead fish to a political foe.

  • Ugh! Anyone else tired of Obama talking about the same things?

All he does is compare McCain to Bush-and 8 years of bad policies-I'm sick of listening to him-

If Obama does win and things go sour-all he's going to do is blame Bush again?

  • Please choose the best answer and no bashing the other candidates?

Why did you decide to vote for your presidential candidate?

    1. Because your views, beliefs, or their stance on issues are close to your own?

    2. Based on the political party? You only vote Democratic/Republican?

    3. Due to media reports or stories?

    4. Because your parents are/felt pressured by peers, friends, other family?

    5. You can relate to their story?

    6. You think that candidate is better suited for the job?

    7. You don't like the other guy and it's the lesser of 2 evils?

    Thanks!

  • Why aren't either candidate voting on the Bailout Bill?

I'm very disappointed in both candidates not putting in their 2 cents about this bailout bill-whether they like it or not-we need to know where they stand-

One of these 2 will be President but neither one wants to step up to the plate on this VERY important issue. What are your thoughts?

  • Kindergardner not following the rules...already!?

It hasn't even been 2 full weeks yet and my son is already getting into trouble-I don't know what to do-he's antsy, was swatting at kids, making noises, not following directions-

He got in trouble for making noises during story time and then sticking his tongue out-what would you do? How can I work on his behavior at school?

Anyone who is teacher or been there done that with advice I'll be glad to hear it....

  • Is this the norm now?

Ok so I was invited to a 2 day bachelorette party-1 day is a $25.00 a person exercise class plus going out to a bar, plus being expected to bring food and liquor to the after party: Day 2 consists of $90+ baseball ticket (minimum $40-$50 parking) plus bar hopping before and after the game

In addition to all that-gifts for the bride? Do all bachelorette parties these days cost guests $300? I had told one of the hosts that it's ridiculous to expect that we bring gifts on top of spending all that money-that it should be a NO Gift party? Am I wrong? The Bride planned all of this-which is fine but is she being selfish

  • Anyone else see how Defensive Deanna was about Graham?

I couldn't believe how she was trashing Graham to Jason-maybe he wasn't the guy for her-but I didn't think he was a bad guy-so he hasn't been in many relationships so what? I wasn't either until I met my husband-and I did feel Graham was trying to open up and be out of his element.

But I thought it was wrong of her to say that Graham wasn't the guy that Jesse and Jason were-of course he wouldn't be he's a different person...

    Anyone agree?

  • How many times....and what's wrong with 2 or 3 times a week?

How many times a week are you and your partner intimate-and why is 2-3 times a week not enough-yes thats 2-3 times a week not month, not every other week...I mean I'm happy my partner would like to do it more-but how come 2-3 times a week isn't satisfying enough for him?

I'm really bothered by his constant comments, I mean does every one do it every day or more than once a day with kids? It's not that I mind doing it and I even do it if I don't want to, so I don't have to listen to him crab about it-but is it my problem that I don't want to do it all the time?

I have tried talking to him about it but it always ends up in a fight and him telling me I'm not trying hard enough in the bedroom-I'm not doing it enough-of course when we were dating we did it all the time but who keeps up with that with schedules, work, we have a 5 year old and just sometimes not being in the mood.

Should I take something to increase my libido? Should he just chill out? Any one else dealing with this?

  • Did I misread the signs or miss my window of opportunity?

I sat next to this guy in HS in 2 classes my sophmore year-at first I barely knew him but as the year went by-we got to know each other fairly well and we would tease each other etc-well one night he told me if he didn't already ask so-n-so to the prom he would have asked me-and one day in class he got extremely close to me. I was crushing him-I figured Jr year we'd probably have a shot at going out (he would be a SR)-well he was captain of the football team, popular, etc. I am more average-I didn't go out and party like them because I had strict parents and I lived pretty far from HS. I am cute-not supermodel-but cute

He teased me big time-he went out of his way the first day of school to say hi to me and even the first day I was in class with him-I couldn't say anything but hey! In the beginning he had no clue I was interested- I didn't want to regret not trying so I had called him and we talked and I know he knew-we wrote back and forth-I went to games-Did I try too hard? Misread

  • What would you do?

So having some issues with my neighbors (kids)-well really I'm not-but my husband is. They have a son next door about the same age as our son and when they play together-you know how boys are, pushing, playing, fighting etc. Well one day their son was playing outside and was hanging on our new baby tree and my husband yelled at him (really yelled) I wasn't thrilled but it wasn't brought up-he's always hitting, biting, pushing-he even pulled part of a new bush we just planted. When he would hit our son-our son would hit back but he would be the one getting in trouble and going in/time out etc...

We find though that our neighbor tries to find every little thing to give our son a hard time about.

In my opinion, they are just playing and unless they are doing something where they can break something or someone gets hurt let them play....

I think they should still play together-it's just pick your battles on things to yell or discipline.

    What do you think?

  • So who's at fault here?

Ok I went to see my dr to find out what's going on with me...My husband and I have been trying to get Pregnant for a while now...I'm only 29 years old-healthy, non-smoker etc. We have a son (he's going to be 5) Last year at my annual, she recommended I take an HSG test to see if anything was clogged...

Well to make a long story short I figured this year I would get it done and I had to wait to do it right after my period etc...

Well I find out that the dr recommended test I had done was not covered under my insurance because it's coded as infertility....well I have to pay A LOT of money for this test

When I spoke with the dr's office they made it seem like it was my fault I didn't know what my insurance would cover-but if they would have only asked me to contact them in advance (before the test) if I knew they weren't going to cover it-I wouldn't of had it done.

I was literally in the hopital for 20-25 minutes and now have to pay almost $3000-Is there anything I can do?
