So I was at a traffic light recently. Flashing red, which I treated as a stop sign, came to a complete stop yielding to three other drivers.

Upon proceeding through the intersection after looking both ways, a man driving 50 or 60MPH rushes through the last perpendicular lane as I am about 3/4 of the way through. I hit the brakes and prevented him from T-boning us. He peels out a few hundred feet after passing the intersection, I proceed on my way.

Well I continue on my way and he pulls a U turn down the one way street so he can turn off and follow me, cuts me off and pulls over, so I stop and roll down the window and ask if he is okay. He yells that a flashing yellow (what he tells me he had) is the same as a green and I should have yielded to him. He wants me to get out of the car to fight, I say no, and tell him to write down my plates and call the police, that I'm leaving. He threatens to beat me if I return. Followed me for a block, and than we went our separate ways.

So I'm wondering. Will I get a visit from the police? Am I correct in my actions? I hit the brakes as soon as I saw him coming because I knew he was going far to fast to stop and would have T-boned us.

I'm filing for a name change for my toddler son, so as to replace his middle name.

I'm looking at 6 year old cars under 100,000 miles to buy and I saw one with burnt metal flakes in the brown transmission fluid. Looked at another (Chevy Uplander) today and the transmission fluid was as brown as the oil not even a hint of red.

Boy name is decided (junior)

Girl names are harder. So far in the lead is Heidi or Haydée , but we are far from decided. My wife wants something that sounds fancy. Came across the name Nanael which in Hebrew means "grace of god" normally Jews only give boys angel names but we doubt that matters to bad as it sounds feminine and isn't necessarily an angel name just cause it ends in EL. tl;dr, we both like the name.

We are leaning towards classical European names from either northern or eastern Europe but nothing that sounds crusty or witch like (like my aunts grizelda and gertraud)

My wife does the usual "omg I'm teh fatzorz" bull and no she is not. But it's getting worse, I had the hardest time getting her to let me give her oral and and now she says it's gross she barely lets me touch her feet. 5:30 yesterday. A distraught old friend shows up at my door talking of being dumped. When she leaves I tell her to stop by during the weekend I'll cheer her up.
