Hi, just bought a laptop with DOS only. Is there a tutorial that maybe some of you guys know a website maybe. I know you can use USB, and DVD. but i don't know exactly the process behind that. I'd prefer USB though. thanks, DVD would be fine too.

I subscribed to a 5MB connection but it never went to that speed. it's stuck to 3MB. I have the ADSL2+ modem TP-Link TD-8817.

When i looked at the status tab, it says my maximum speed IS 5MB but it's stuck at 3MB, i tried messing around with the settings of the modem to no avail. Any ideas?

The Inspiron is $200 plus where i'm at. Which one is better performance wise in the long run? Thanks :)

Thinking about building my own gaming pc next year, (you see im not a pc enthusiast, but could you also tell me a great site for asking pc related questions?).

Budget: $4000+/-

Any idea on getting the best build for my budget, i'd love to use i7 (4k, bluray, but gaming in mind )

Using new GPUs CPUs, etc that you know coming next year that'd be great.

I don't really mind using AMD or Nvidia as long as any that has better performance then i'm good.

I have a stock E4300 heatsink, and ordered E6700 CPU for an upgrade.

Can I use the E4300 heat sink for the E6700?

Both CPU's voltage are the same, but the E6700 slightly cooler than the E4300. Does this mean it should do fine?

My pc is only capable of 1066 FSB according to the HP site. But I read somewhere that the leonite motherboard is capable of using E6850's 1333. I don't know if it's true or not.

Should i play it safe and buy the E6600? Also, can I underclock the FSB for the E6850 or is it completely useless.

Hi, I'm learning all major religions (Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, etc.) and I want to know the story behind them. But the question I want to know now, is that. What connection does Jesus has with Trinity?

Also, someone told me that Trinity is a fact, Jesus could not have removed their sins because he would not have the strength/power.

If there's no Trinity, this means Jesus has no strength/power? And by this alone, does this mean Jesus was not Crucified IF there's no Trinity?

How about you, as a Christian, do you believe if there's Trinity?

Consuming alcohol and swine is prohibited in the Bible but most Christians nowadays consume both which is against their religion. Why?

Albeit the prohibition of alcohol in the Bible, some churches they give the people 'Bread & Wine' or Body & Blood of Jesus. Since wine is an alcohol drink, this contradicts with what the Bible is teaching them and to make it even worse it's in their own church. Why?

Islam means submission to the will of God. Jesus also claims in [The Bible John 5:30], "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not my own will, BUT THE WILL OF THE FATHER which hath sent me."

Jesus was a Muslim. Muslim means a person who submits to God's will.

-The world has pillars, with four corners at the ends of the world and also claimed it to be circular.. this tells me its a flat circle with pillars and what circle has four corners?.. etc,.)

I spend on my computer most of the time and I always have to squint because of the glare, I feel like the bright light is poking into my eyes, especially if its a monitor that claims to have a contrast of 50.000:1 with 1000:1 brightness. It's really bright even if I tone down the brightness all the way down.

My eyes also tend to dry up after a period of time, I also occasionally get headaches from looking at the monitor for too long.

Also, what are the risks of using sunglasses while looking at the monitor? I heard your pupils could get diluted.. Is that true?

It started a few days ago, I don't know how it happened and I googled it but nothing came up..

Hello, any polyglots out there? If so, can you give me any advice/tips on how to learn a language effectively, especially remembering vocabulary.

I'm currently learning French and Spanish. I know how to use both languages grammatically, thanks to Michel Thomas Method.

But currently I'm focusing more on French, so can anyone give any or best tips you can offer to learn another language especially French. The only problem I'm having is remembering new words. When I try to remember it, I tend to forget it 5 minutes later lol.

I know it's not great for any new games out there, but I'm thinking about buying a Graphics card Nvidia Geforce GT 440. I know some people don't think it's a good enough GPU either.

Can I run new games smoothly if i have slow computer, do CPU speed matters?

And can I make my cpu faster with the GT 440?

Hi, any pearly whites here? Can you guys give me some pointers how you guys whiten your teeth and maintaining it?

I actually read and watched online on how using a mixture of Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide actually can whiten teeth, and possibly it is safe since it was told by a licensed dentist ..assistant i think..

anyway, I just started brushing my teeth with the mixture tonight and I get this tingling and a bit pain inside my mouth as I brush my teeth with it, is it normal? And after I'm done somehow at the edges of my gums looked white, as if the baking soda got stuck in there. I had to work my way through with my nail just to clean it up and swihsing with water a few times.

I feel like this is not safe for me.. Is it normal?

Another question is how many times do you pearly whites out there brush your teeth, do you brush every after eating? or just twice a day?

I used 6% H. Peroxide and a normal Baking soda.. is 6% safe? or should i add water to the mixture?

(I don't wanna spend thousands of dollars to the dentist. no money no honey., lol)
