In Boccaccio's Decameron, what does this line mean? Thank you.?
In "Third Day, First Story," there is the line:
"As Masetto worked day after day, the nuns began to pester him and to make fun of him... and the abbess thought little or nothing about it, perhaps because she thought that he was as much without a tail up front as he was without a tongue in his mouth."

2 AnswersFashion & Accessories5 years agoIs it considered "cheating" to write a short story based on one of your dreams?
I can't completely say that it was my idea that I took the time to come up with, because dreams not only steal moments and static images from your daily experiences, but they also potentially steal from TV shows, movies, things that your friends said, et cetera. Do you know what I mean?
7 AnswersBooks & Authors5 years agoCan someone please help me out with finding the title of this song? It's been bugging me for a week now.?
Okay, so I don't have any other details except for what I think the chorus sounds like: "oh whoa oh whoa oh oh i (never gonna) let you go (i won't) let you go..." I'm not confident that those are the actual lyrics but I'm certain that it's a slow acoustic song and one of the choruses contains a harmony in it. They play it every once in a while at Price Chopper Supermarkets where I just stopped working today. The song annoyed me, so I wanted to know what it's called. Except because I was working, I never got to hear the full thing, and it's kind of a quiet song too. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
2 AnswersLyrics5 years agoWhat does Hesiod mean by "the earth had covered this generation" in the following passage? Thank you.?
But after the earth had covered this generation—they are called pure spirits dwelling on the earth, and are kindly, delivering from harm, and guardians of mortal men; [125] for they roam everywhere over the earth, clothed in mist and keep watch on judgements and cruel deeds, givers of wealth; for this royal right also they received;—then they who dwell on Olympus made a second generation which was of silver and less noble by far. It was like the golden race neither in body nor in spirit.
1 AnswerMythology & Folklore5 years agoWhat does Hesiod mean by "put them away" in this passage about the silver age? (found in description)?
But after the earth had covered this generation—they are called pure spirits dwelling on the earth, and are kindly, delivering from harm, and guardians of mortal men; [125] for they roam everywhere over the earth, clothed in mist and keep watch on judgements and cruel deeds, givers of wealth; for this royal right also they received;—then they who dwell on Olympus made a second generation which was of silver and less noble by far. It was like the golden race neither in body nor in spirit. [130] A child was brought up at his good mother's side a hundred years, an utter simpleton, playing childishly in his own home. But when they were full grown and were come to the full measure of their prime, they lived only a little time and that in sorrow because of their foolishness, for they could not keep from sinning and [135] from wronging one another, nor would they serve the immortals, nor sacrifice on the holy altars of the blessed ones as it is right for men to do wherever they dwell. Then Zeus the son of Cronos was angry and put them away, because they would not give honor to the blessed gods who live on Olympus.

I am mad that that I left my actual, medicated cream at home, so I have to settle with anti-itch cream. No lotion either. My skin is so dry and red it's terrible.

I have a lot of information from one good source, but it's looking like this:
This happened (Jackson, 14). Things went pretty well from then on. Then this happened (Jackson, 19). This action is supported by this happening (Michael, 117). Unfortunately, this happened next (Jackson, 2). And then this too (Jackson, 299). "This" (Patrick, 4) Finally, this occurred (Jackson, 23).
