  • Where can I find a cheap screw-on style faucet head, no handles?

I'm at an apartment that has a faucet that is too low to properly wash dishes. The faucet head can screw on and off easily (it has 2 non-attached handles), so I was wondering where I can find a cheap replacement for it that would be taller. I don't want a full faucet with handles because I don't want to do serious installation, and it shouldn't be necessary.

I've been looking online and I can't seem to find anything. Maybe there is a certain keyword or term I need to be looking for?

  • Who is the actor with dark eyelashes that look like eyeliner?

I can't for the life of me remember what films he is in or his name and it's driving me nuts. He has dark brown hair, is probably in his 30s, and is attractive. As I said before, he has thick, dark, eyelashes that make it look like he is wearing eyeliner. He kind of reminds me of Adrian Pasdar or Gabriel Macht as the Spirit, but he is not either one of these people.

  • Are these contacts defective?

I have been using the same brand of contacts for the past couple of years, and lately I have been going through them way too fast. The contacts for my left eye seem like they fold and bend and do not resume their curved shape as quickly/easily as they should; it's difficult to unfold them. Then, almost every lens has been tearing before it's time to change them. I used to have tearing issues when I first began using lenses because I wasn't used to handling them, but until this box it had been a rare occurrence since. This is only occurring with the left lenses and not the right, so I do not feel this is some issue of care or handling.

If they do sound defective, how can I approach my optometrist about this issue? I feel that paying for an item that lasted half as long as it should have is not fair, and I want to ensure this wont happen next time as well.

  • What does this bumper sticker mean?

It says "Be more Jewish: Believe in Jesus"

I don't get it. Is it a Christian who is telling Jews that Jesus was a Jew, and therefore they should follow him? That seems pretty brazen to me.

  • How big is a girls size 8/10?

I want to buy this cardigan for myself, but it's a child's size. I was wondering if this may be able to fit someone who normally wears a small.

  • What services should I get for my vehicle on a regular basis?

I recently got my oil changed and they were offering many other services, such as cleaning the fuel injectors, etc. I would like to know which services do I actually need to get and how frequently do they need to be preformed? Also, if you happen to know approximately how much these services should cost, that would be great too. My car is only 2006, if that matters. Thank you!

  • Why does the phone interrupt my wifi connection?

I have a wireless internet router at home and whenever someone is using a certain phone it doesn't work. It is fine if the other phone is being used, and they are all on the same line (including the internet). Also, we're looking to replace our phone sets and is there a certain brand/type that we can buy that won't cause this problem? Thank you!

  • Venus Fly Trap Evolution?

I have already found that the venus fly trap is closely related to the waterwheel plant and/or the sundew. However, I need to know how far back in geological time can you trace an evolutionary record of this plant's developmental history? Since it doesn't leave fossils, I don't know where I can find this information. Any links or titles to books, etc. would be great. Thank you!!!

  • Have you ever had a dream come true?

I am wondering whether anyone has had a real dream (not like an ambition, but the dream when you are asleep) had any significant part of it come true. I have recently had dreams that felt very real, and it makes me wonder about the possibility of this coincidence.

  • Does iChat require a .mac account?

I'm looking to set it up so my parents can talk to my stepsister in Minnesota. I was told that it requires a .mac account (which is ~$80 a year), but it doesn't look like it to me when I look at the iChat on my new MBP. Anyone know for sure? Thank you!

  • Match a new stereo to the interior?

I have a new stereo for my car (06 Nissan Altima) that I received as a gift. I want to have it installed because it is better than the factory stereo, but I want it to look good. Unfortunately, the existing stereo face is very large, and the new one is about half the size. I have had a stereo installed before and they put basically a plastic shelf/box in to fix the gap, but I don't want that because I fear that it will look cheap. Plus, I don't need more storage space and would prefer to keep a closed off look in that extra area (and have it match). My interior is gray and the face of the dashboard is somewhat curved and I really want to maintain that aesthetic. Is there a way to do that? Any special parts I can buy?

Here is and image of what my dashboard look like if that helps.

  • Contact Lens Disposal?

I wear 2 week soft contact lenses. I was wondering why they need to be disposed of at these intervals, instead of say a month? The optometrist says it's important, but not why. Will you cause eye damage if you continue to use them longer, or are they just looking for more money?

  • 06 Nissan Altima Rumble?

Hello, I have a 2006 Nissan Altima that is in great condition, but I have noticed a "rumbling" at times. At speeds of about 55-60 mph the vehicle feels somewhat shaky (similar to how it feels if the tires need to be balanced, but I did that recently and it did not fix this issue). If I speed up or slow down, the rumbling is no longer there.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? Anyone have a similar experience with their Altima? Is there anything I or a mechanic can do to fix this, or do I have to live with it? Since the car is rather new and has been well maintained (bought it used, was previously a rental car) I feel like this may have always been an issue for this vehicle model. Thank you!
